Pros:I waited 2 hours at the counter waiting for my turn to process my previously made reservation and pick up my car until I finally could not wait any longer (hungry, thirsty, and tired after a long flight) and had to call a relative to pick me up at the airport.
Cons:More staff, better customer service, at least a waiting lounge with snacks and water. Or get out of the business and do something else.
Pros:There was a 2+ hour line to pick-up my pre-booked car. Unacceptable. I ended up going to Hertz.
Pros:Car was nice. Just not what I reserved.
Cons:The car I reserved was a BMW 745 or comparable. The car we received was a Fiat Tipo. Obviously these cars are in very different categories and this was blatant misadvertising. I will not rent through you guys again and we share my negative experience with my colleagues.
Pros:Upgrade received was very welcome
Cons:Wait (as a preferred customer) was too long. Only one agent for Preffered clients
Cons:We picked up the car at 11am for 2 days so we had to bring it at 11am 2 days after otherwise after that would count as 3 days which is very not convenient. Normally a day is from midnight to midnight.
Cons:They added fuel options when I was expecting to bring it in full and the tank was not fuel when we picked up...
Pros:Staff were courteous and efficient
Cons:The facilities (underground) were dark and cramped, did not rise to the level of the staff
Didnt go ahead with purchase, Avis staff was rude and tried to charge us £200 extra without telling us, on top of this he charged us almost 3 times the amount shown on your website
The agent was supportive and most importantly, gave me all the details like a deep dive.
Pros:Checkout went smoothly
Cons:Took a bit of time to figure out car operation, as there was no manual. And the bumper needed some tape down before we left.
