I was not charged by Avis what I agreed to with Kayak. I called & was told that within 48 hours I would receive an e-mailed correction. I still have not seen that.

Lincoln Navigator was a nice rental. Clean, low miles (3k on it) and fun to drive. Only disappointment was being a 100k vehicle I felt my insurance was inadequate. So i bought Avis insurance at $50 a day almost the cost a daily rental.(which is my opinion kind of high.) I was hoping that kayak would offer some Insurance at a lower cost for Avis but was unsuccessful.

Customer service rep had a bit of an attitude! I didn’t feel he was customer driven!

Fuel was at 3/4 when we picked it up. There was only one agent checking people in so it took forever and he didn’t do a very good job explaining where and how to return the vehicle. We had to do a chat while we drove around the parking garage

There was no attendant at the counter at 4:00pm for my car drop off. I had to leave the keys in the overnight box with a note regarding mileage and drop off gas level…. I thought it was strange but the young lady I pick up the vehicle with was excellent! Very helpful & courteous.

Location is not correct - took a long time to even find this location. They said didn’t have our reservation - we had to play phone tag with the support line and on-site agent for hours before they finally got us a car. Then they downgraded our car after we already paid and signed the contracts.

I was unable to pickup my vehicle. Avis stated that vehicle was at a different location but my reservation was the correct one in my email. Avis would not honor the reservation I made with you. I tried contacting Kayak and I was unable to contact or get a hold of anyone to correct your mistake. I had to rent another vehicle with budget and it delayed my whole trip and added expenses I hadn’t planned for. I will not be using your company again.

I thought I was being charged in Canadian dollars When I arrived Amy card was charged I learned kayak is an American company and charges American dollars No where does it say this I do not think I should have paid the higher fees I explained how I felt “bit” the representative knew I wasn’t happy
