The clean room, the friendly staff, and the free shuttle was definitely a plus!
The location of the hotel is right across the street from the juvenile center. Kind of a rough neighborhood. This is the second time staying at this hotel. While the location of the hotel did not change since the last time we stayed there (it's in a less than desirable location), the room that we received was definitely an upgrade from the previous one that we stayed in. It was cleaner and had a better view. The front desk staff is as exceptional as the excellent cleaning staff. The free shuttle and complimentary breakfast are great.
Location, location, location! The hotel is very convienently located. The theatre district is six blocks away and the inner harbor is practically around the corned
The desk clerk was very condescending and bordered on rude. Her explanation of hotel policy and her response to my attempted questioning was brusque. I travel quite a bit for my job and have not encountered such rude behavior before in a 2 star hotel. The drapes in our room were falling off the rod, the hotel day time desk clerk was incredibly rude. The decor and novelty of a renovated bank was interesting but not sufficient to make up for the rudeness of the eman at the front desk.
It was new (4 years old) and a remodeled bank building. Loved the beautiful architecture in the lobby and the rooms were clean, new and well appointed. Plus they had a shuttle service that was great!
The location was convenient, but not the best section of town. The hotel itself was great.Overall, my husband and I would stay there again. In fact, we are planning another trip and will likely make plans to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a shuttle service that took us to our destination and back, which was a plus. We had not signed up for the return shuttle and it was full. However, when there was a cancellation, the hotel called/texted to let us know there was an opening. That is real service and we appreciated it. This was definitely a good experience.
Nice size room with fridge and microwave. Lots of counter space in the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Lots of clean, fluffy towels.
Free shuttle that was supposed to leave on the hour was more than 10 minutes late. Breakfast was mediocre.
the staff in this hotel is unbelievable helpful. special thx to Tina and Erica. my car broke down during labor day weekend. They tried so hard to help me find the auto repair shop and coodinated shuttle bus during my stays.
location. but shuttle can take u almost every where closebyi will recommend this hotel since the price is just right and the staff are helpful. the breakfast is just good. the lady works for breakfast gave up her own pancakes to me with a smile that day i went there late. i appreciate her kindness.
Nice clean room and very helpful staff.
The location was a little further than what I thought.Overall, very good. Clean room and very helpful staff.
Shuttle to downtown area
parking fee and shuttle did not run late enough. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. A room with two beds is always preferable but no guarantees booking through priceline. I did not like the fact that I had all my stuff ready to go to the room and when I check in they handed me a parking pass to go back out to my car to put in the windshield. I had just driven for 5 hours and had about an hour to get ready to meet friends. Not a huge deal but kind of an annoyance to have to go all the way up to the room to drop my stuff (or lug it all back out to the car) just to put a parking pass on the dash.
Staff was very helpful.
Shuttle from Convention Center to Hotel never showed up where we were told to be for pickup, this happened twice on the first day we stayed there and happened a third time on our last day.the rooms were very nice. We had a problem with our lock, so we were moved to a different room. Staff was very helpful with any questions I had. only problem I had was with the shuttle service. The shuttle from the Convention Center to Hotel never showed up where we were told to be for pickup, this happened twice on the first day we stayed there and happened a third time on our last day.
This hotel had a free shuttle and friendly staff. Free breakfast in the morning is definitely a plus!
The location. While I realize it is part of 'downtown', the area is extremely shady and off to the side from what I would truly consider downtown. We were also greeted with a giant black stain on the carpet when we entered our room. This hotel, while attractive in price and interior wise, is simply not in a good neighborhood of Baltimore. It is on the edge of 'downtown' and requires traveling through several questionable areas to get to the more developed areas of the city. Besides the unwelcome sight of large black stains on the carpet upon entering our room, the room was actually adequate with a large bathroom, comfortable bed, and several items of furniture. The only other downside was that the room had very slow or weak internet connectivity. Free breakfast and free shuttle service (which runs on the hours) is nice and a feature that app...
The shuttle service was wonderful. They drove people to the inner harbor, medical facilities, cinemas, ball park, restaurants all for no extra fee. Staff was very accommodating.
The location was marginal.
