Beds were comfortable
Location was terrible. Very noisy
Could of been more choices and variety for breakfast.
The staff was outstanding! If I had a problem or question, they took care of it immediately.Great people!
Nice staff, variety of choices for breakfast
We didn't always feel safe and comfortable walking around in the area. There were huge crowds of local youth and lots of profanity.
Clean location great breakfast.
Parking too much
The night receptionist was extremely helpful and plesant.
The valet was very rude
The front desk rep. was great (our arrival). He was polished and very nice. You could tell he enjoyed his job and did it well, Beautiful hotel w/nice rooms.
Got a call before 8am-very loud phone rang in our room..fell out of bed in a panic. She said my credit card for valet parking didn't go through. Really? They had my car.it did go though-a mistake. Couldn't get back to sleep - Expect more from Marriott
Spacious room. Near harbor. Complimentary breakfast.
Staff was great. Breakfast was nice
Room was ok. Parking was expensive.
It was clean, the staff was friendly. The room was nice.
The mattress was a little uncomfortable and it had snowed so getting from the car to the front door was difficult.
great location but some serious mold in the bathroom..parking was terrible and a BIG ripoff
Nice location, but tough on parking.
no restaurant and though they offer cocktails, they were out of liquor the weekend we stayed. disappointing.
Booked and was given a King suite. The only problem was there was two adults and we needed two beds. Was told it would cost an additional--- dollars and I felt that it was unfair.
The rooms are large and come with a small refrigerator and microwave so you could stay for a while not have to go out for every meal. Pretty close to Inner Harbor but not quite there.
No view. Blocks around are a little shabby. No bar or restuarant in the hotel.
Convenient to Camden Yards, Convention Center, and other area attractions.
Ice machines were only available on some, but not all floors.
Well done restoration of former bank building
$32 Valet Parking Fee (no near by public parking)
room smelled moldy. beds were terribly hard. pillows were horrible. toilet seat look stained.
my room was dirty and the thermostat would not respond to adjustments in temperature, so I was cold
Personnel workjing there should be best qulaified to take tickets @ movie theatres. Not people friendly.
great spot, great rate, great room
parking, but then that's Baltimore. I had to check 4 floors to find a working ice machine.
It should really be stated that parking costs an additional $32 per night at this hotel. I used name-your-own-price, so I was hoping that parking would be included with the hotel stay. Once the hotel is booked, it is non-refundable, so the parking fee should've been factored into the deal. It was not, and that was a high unexpected expense.
Room was spacious. Location worked well for my purposes. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Lacked a restaurant or lounge.
The staff where very polite, friendly and professional they all went the extra mile for us and our needs.
It was around the corner from a hospital, so every five minutes you heard sirens. I had a 14 month old who also seemed inconvenienced by the extra noise.
I was very pleased with Springhill Suites. I was with a group of 3 people, and we chose this hotel because the rooms had sofa beds in addition to two double beds. The room was quite large, so the three of us didn't feel cramped at all. It's right in downtown, and you can easily walk to the Inner Harbor. The building is older, but I thought that gave it real character. There's even an old-timey mail chute that runs up the wall by the elevator to every floor. But despite being an older building, the room was quiet and the temperature very easy to control. There was a nice kitchenette in the room, though I was never able to get the fridge to be very cold. Parking is a rather steep $32 a night, valet only. But Internet and breakfast were free, so that seemed to make up for it. My only complaints are that our iron and coffee maker didn't work, though they did bring us replacements quite quickly after we called and reported it.
The hotel was very nice on the inside. A little hard to find because of all the one ways. I had a studio 1 king bed suite and it was so much bigger then I imagined. I was very please. It was clean and modern. The neighborhood at night is a little frightening, but the hotel is in a great location. a few blocks from inner harbor, aquarium and power plant live. Also close proximity to Washington monument and Mt Vernon.
A few streets from The Harbor area is this gem of a hotel. The rooms are nicely laid out suites in a building that was once an old bank. The valet parking is a bit pricey but was quite convenient and well worth it the few times we took our car out. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent with eggs, Canadian bacon, waffles and hot cereal each morning along with cold cereal, yogurt, commercial bagels and assorted beverages. The layout of condiments for breakfast was great with syrup, brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon and walnuts for the hot cereal and hot sauce for the eggs. I wanted to take some breakfast up to my wife who had just woken up and the lady that runs the breakfast buffet quickly offered to cover the food and wrap it to keep it hot. As great as the rooms are, the staff is certainly their equal. Exceptional is the word to describe each and every staff member there. The mgr. certainly does an thorough job in hiring the right mix of people along with running a great hotel. I stay in Baltimore 5-6 times a year and this will be where I will always go. Thanks for a pleasant visit.
We were in Baltimore Inner Harbor for a company meeting and stayed at this hotel. It was a great surprise! The room was HUGE and very different from a normal SpringHill Suites. The front desk told us it is a renovated bank building and the meeting room we used was the bank's vault. The hotel had great flat screen TVs, free internet and a bar in the lobby. I am definitely going to return to this hotel with my family, or any time I come back to Baltimore. It is only a couple of minutes from the Inner Harbor restaurants and shopping, an easy walk. All around a fantastic hotel!
