Good position, friendly and helpful staff. Great terrace for a bear and a beautiful view
I like that it's very centrally located. It's right on Passeig de Gracia, very close to some of Gaudi's best-known architectural works, and surrounded by some of the finest in dining, shopping, and sightseeing. Located in a very high-profile part of town, close to the heart of vibrant Barcelona!
The beds could have been better. I was always assigned the top bunk beds - which I didn't mind - but it was really awkward climbing these beds. There was hardly any space between the beds, and so it was difficult (nearly impossible!) to use the ladder. I suggest leaving enough space between the beds so that we could actually use the ladder when climbing the top bunk. This would be much safer for us too. ...Also, I hate to say this, but there's plenty of room for improvement in their customer service. Some of them could use a full semester in charm school. ;-)
Near to the City Centre and metro/train station exact on a few steps. I was at Catalunya circuit and transportation is on first place. Exellent conditions. Polite staff.
I have stayed at the Centric Point several times, and each time have been impressed by the friendliness, the cleanliness and basic good value. The location is terrific, too- just "up-town" enough to avoid noise and smell but within easy walking distance of everything you'd want to see. And it couldn't be more convenient for the metro to the airport or anywhere else you want to get to further afield.
Good location near city center
We stayed in a double bed room with shower; we payed hotel price for youth hostel standard; we had a room with no daylight; there was an extra charge for sheets/blankets and another for payment with credit card; other (young) guests were very noisy at night time
