Price to high
The staff is excellent and what I expected at a la Quinta
I am guessing this hotel was covered from another brand the room is outdated the floor squeaks when you take a step And the shower really. Not even a rail or dish to hold anything
very clean with friendly staff
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and dog friendly. Easy on and off route 70. Just what we needed for a quick over night.
Small and overpriced. One room smelled like smoke.
Stool ran over and flooded when first got there. They moved me to another room.
Good location just off the Interstate 70. Very nice breakfast.
The hotel is kind old and smells.
I liked the size of the room very clean, breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly. Linens, soap, and shampoo were all ready on very organized in the room.Room was very reasonable in price.
Toilet was too low. Should of got a room more for handicap. Should have picked something closer to Kansas City, KS.
It had a very good continental breakfast. The hot food bar was a pleasant surprise.
Our remote control would turn on the TV but wouldn't work to change channels or lower volume.
Hotel staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.
Everything was fine. Very pleasant stay.
It was old and you could tell they were trying to hide the smell of smoke with an overpowering fragrance.
clean and easy to get in and out of
breakfast always the same and styrofoam coffee cups and no to go lids
Exceeded our expectations. Clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was above average. Front desk clerk was excellent
Breakfast was better than most as it was well staffed.
Very convenient location for sporting events at sports complex.Pretty safe area to stay .Very good breakfast ! The pretty hispanic attendant was the best.I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and she was all over the place.Best attendant I've ever seen!
Ended up in handicapped room but shower was nice but no biggie.
The location from the highway was just about perfect
The musky smell in the hallways and rooms on the 3rd floor was pretty bad.
Easy access to I70 and Royals Stadium
Nothing jumps to mind.
The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was hot and delicious!
Coffee maker in room missing piece, juice machine broken at breakfast, small breakfast area; hard to find seating.
Someone had smoked in room, and hotel tried to cover it up with spray. Lobby was small. Entry very small an dun appealing. Bathroom very small.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The outside pool was clean and the water was warm. The rooms were very clean. The free breakfast was just like most hotelsv so it was good.
We did not like the room because it smelled of stale cigarettes and mildew. It was a non-smoking room.
Business area printer out of ink Matteres way to hard
Breakfast was good
Eating area is small and can not accomodate a full house. When we checked in after 3 we were told our room wasn't ready, that they had staff not show up that day, and they didn't know when it would be ready.
There was a small, pleasant outdoor pool.
We were put on a smoking/pet floor. Our room was fairly clean, but the shower was definitely not. The hallway and room both smelled strongly of smoke.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The bed was OK. The room was large.
There are small pillows (like couch pillows) instead of standard sized ones, which I found annoying. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked - there was dust on the fixtures and I found a few stray hairs on the pillows.
It was clean and conveniently located. There was a grocery store close by.
Front desk staff was a little off-putting and slow.
Right on top of a freeway. Very loud freeway traffic all day and all night. They use strong incense and strong cleaning sparys in rooms and hall way.We had to leave due towe have allergic reaction and headaches from smells.
smoking in public areas and in rooms right across the hall of our non-smoking room. Too noisy - both from hallway and outside windows.
Our TV did not work. They were going to give us a discount but bc we booked through Priceline they couldn't. I won't use Priceline again unless we can resolve this issue.
internet did not function at all to my room - the last room in the hallway. This is a major inconvenience when traveling on business.
Really - - nothing!
Noisy. middle of the night someione tried to get into our room. wrong door; tried the key card, and when that didn't work, knocked on the door, destroying a good night's sleep. Made a lot of noise; talking/banging around. Management strugged it off
Internet was terrible. Had to switch rooms and it was still bad next day.
Location. Exercise area.
bathroom had no ventilation - neither fan nor window. Steamy.
The advertised 'pillow top matress' was not a pilow top. The Breakfast was the same each day and not very good.
Rooms were old and dirty although the cleaning people cleaned the rooms the rooms are old and are in need of an upgrade. The door didnt go to the floor we could see and hear eveything in the hall way. The elevator was terrifying.
This place is terrible. The exterior looks nice from a distance but there's trash everywhere. The staff hardly speaks english. This is one of those hotels where people stay to live there, so that gives you an idea of the type of guests they have. The AC's don't work, the rooms are gross, light bulbs in rooms don't work, TVs don't work, etc. I would suggest paying the extra money to stay in another hotel.
The facility is nice and our room was clean and comfortable however the air conditioning did not work in our room. We walked up to our room for the first time and there was a dog barking at the door in the room next to ours. Later in the evening there was a dog fight in the hallway out side our door. A German Shepherd and a smaller mutt dog. If I wanted to stay in a dog pound I would go to one. I complained to the clerk at checkout and she said she couldn't do anything about it because it was LaQuinta's policy to allow pets. How do they know if one messes on the floor and if they did where so the carpet could be cleaned. Answer, they don't so when someone elses dog on the floor you can walk in it. Short answer, we won't stay here again and may rethink staying at LaQuinta's all togeather.
