HELPFULL STAFF, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE BATTERY JUMP! GOOD BREAKFAST SELECTION WITH FRIENDLY STAFF.
BATHROOM IN OUR ROOM WAS VERY SMALL. COULD NOT LOCATE THE HOTEL BECAUSE THE ADDRESS WAS REALLY SOUTH DAVIS STREET AND NOT DAVIS STREET. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WAS TRYING TO GET CORRECTED BUT THEY WEREN'T HAVING ANY LUCK GETTING IT CHANGED.LOVED THE QUAINT SMALL TOWN FEEL OF THIS MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY. WE EXPECTED A LITTLE MORE FROM A 3 STAR HOTEL BUT ALL IN ALL EVERYTHING WAS OKEY.
The breakfast was great and location was just what was needed.
noHotel was really great for our needs, would use it again
The complimentary breakfast was great. They even gave us 2 vouchers to get drinks in the lounge! The staff was super friendly.
The room had 2 full size beds (we thought they would be queen size).Great location right off the highway. The hotel is walking distance to the downtown area where there are restaurants and shops. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable. If you get a room with 2 beds, be advised they are not queen size - they are smaller than that. The complimentary breakfast was really good. It included different hot foods every day.
Nice friendly entrance.Room was very quiet, good bed and very clean. Very good breakfast bar with lots of tables not close together.
The close proximity to the Allegheny National forest.
During our stay the hotel was renting rooms to University students. There were actually 24 hr security guards on our floor and the feeling was of a prison. This was not what you would expect of a three star hotel. This hotel should not be rated with three stars. Our rooms was small and confining and the bathroom was small and dated. I was actually trying for a 2 and a half star hotel (Holiday Inn Express) when I was 'Upgraded' to Best Western. I would have been much happier at my choice. The hotel is situtated right next to a railroad and we were awakened early in the morning when the train came through blowing its whistle. While we were there the hotel was renting to overflow college students from the University and we had security guards posted around the clock to ensure the college students did not disturb other guests. Not my idea of a vacation environment. I found the hotel staff rathe...
room are not specious enough for the money they charge, no sofa bed either.
The room was nice.
I parked in the back as the front desk suggested. When I entered, the cigarette smoke was choking. Luckily, that was the only place I could smell it.Nice enough place. The exterior could use a face lift. The smoking hallway will take your breath away and it is unfortunate they don't have a place to put them that non-smoker's don't have to walk through. The room was pleasantly nice. It was clean and nicely decorated. No smell of cigarettes there. I slept like a baby. I got a deal from price line. I don't think I'd have been happy ppaying full price.
The hotel and room were clean and well maintained for the age of the place. Staff was nice and freindly. There is no way it should be rated as a 3 star due to the age and decore.
should be rated as a 2 star hotel not 3 star. If a 2 star I would have rated it high. Very clean, good staff, everything worked. The place is very dated.
Staff, cleanliness and location.
Price high for level of hotel. Food at resturaunt in hotel very mediocre and again price high.Over all a good hotel would stay there again but would look for better value first. Would not eat at the resturaunt again. Exercise room and out door pool nice would like to have had an in side pool for rainy day.
