The room and the bathroom were very clean. The bed linen and towels were clean and fresh. Quiet, clean, safe. Pet friendly with a $10.00 per night extra charge. I would rcommend this motel.
Charging $10.00 for a 5 lb dog that requird no sevices at all. We picked up after the animal and left nothing for anyone else to pick up.
The room was not clean. The room smelled of smoke. Lights didn't work. The adjoining door was off hinges and wouldn't shut. No wash rags in the room. No soap in the room
The staff was very friendly & the room was clean.
The tub was stained which made it look dirty.
Cleanliness good room for Super 8
Price was too high but it was antique week
The bed was extremely comfortable. We also were late to check out, but they were very hospitable, and gave us a bit of extra time without charging.
Room was spacious
The bed was lumpy. I was bit by FLEAS in the room and killed two of them.
I loved the room, very contemporary and clean. The bed was super comfy and I did not hear a peep from anyone in the other rooms.
I did not like that there was no elevator with our room on the 2nd floor. I also think the breakfast could be a lot better but for price it's what I expected, it was nice that there was yogurt.
For a two star hotel it was fine.
The pillows needed replacing. The outside hot tub would only heat up to warm, not hot.
Nice large out door hot tub. Large, clean rooms
Entrance/Exit to pool bit sketchy with doors locked but not locked.
The second floor smelled like someone was smoking in every room. There was no smoke smell in the room. The room was every clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK but could have been a lot better.
I normally don't care for super 8 hotels but this one was great. Room was nice. Did not smell funny
Handicapped room. Large bathroom
Coffee still in coffee pot. No coffee to make more.
Cold Room AC worked very well.
Had a cigaret smoke smell.
Clean room and free breakfast was simple but of good quality.
No dirty-laundry bags to place soiled clothing or shoes in when packing to leave. Entry light to room was out and all three light switches at entry of room did nothing to help when walking in to a dark room.
The staff was extremely friendly and very accomadating.
The ustairs hallway did have a smokey smell but the rooms didn't.
The bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice, and worked properly.
The smell. Apparently, new carpet had been recently installed in our room, and the sickening, chemical odor clung to everything we brought into the room.
Nice - soft beds
Hard to find.
King size bed
The hot tub did not work and the staff was not quick to help. I was disappointed.
Clean. Comfortable beds.
No elevator. Stairs to second floor. A problem with luggage.
Restaurant next door
Hotel staff was great, but the staff from priceline was terrible. We made a reservation the day before and priceline did not get the information to the hotel, and basically told the hotel that it was my fault even though I had a confirmation number.
The maid was knocking at out door at 8am and check out was at 11. She kept knocking every 30 mins.
Recently built. Modern and clean in our room. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Pool looked clean
No elevator seems ridiculous. We did not have much luggage thankfully. Second floor hallway reeked of smoke. Our non-smoking room was up there and the room itself smelled ok.first floor smelled ok in hallway
I have to say nothing
Oh yes! We were told there were no other rooms then told only a handicap. If we wanted the room we paid for we would have to pay more for higher suite. I felt jilted and needed a tub to relax in after the hard work at the show!
The staff was very helpful in a difficult situation.
Our room was not clean when we arrived. (miscommunication between cleaning staff/front desk). Two desk clerks cleaned room. We had a non-smoking room but all around were smoking. There was a heavy smoke smell in hallway and room. Hot tub was cold.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and quiet. It was a good choice for an overnight stay.
Though out on the south side of town on the highway, this is a great little place to stay. New, clean, friendly accommodating desk staff. Great restaurant next door. We arrived near midnight. Missed morning breakfast, but manager opened kitchen for us to help ourselves. Room was clean & fresh. Small outside pool was fine for cooling off after all day exploring Brenham. Big new shopping district is just 10m up the highway on the West side of town. Old downtown just 10m straight North with local shops along the way.
Both of our rooms smelled 'sour'. Mattress on king bed smelled of urine! TV in queen room did not work. When we arrived, a child was in one room lying on the bed. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms looked clean, but smelled very bad. Breakfast was ok.
This is probably the best Super 8 we have stayed at. The hotel was relatively new, and the room was large, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in their jacuzzi suite with a king bed. The jacuzzi was in the room, just as pictured. It was great. We didn't eat at the breakfast buffet. Frankly, it was too busy. We must have come at a bad time. People had eggs and donuts on their plates, but none were left. So, come early if you want to eat much of anything. There is construction of the highway in front, so that makes it a bit challenging to get there. The mexican restaurant next to the motel is good.
