I travel a lot, but I prefer to immerse myself in culture rather than stay pampered at hotels. This hotel is a house converted into small apartments. The house is old and it isn't cosmetically perfect. But it has character, is in a chill neighborhood in Flatbush, Brooklyn, it's clean, and had what I needed. It was quiet...I felt like I lived in Brooklyn.
Parking is very limited, so I needed to move my car by 830am to another street. When I booked the room, it listed parking as an amenity. There is some damage to the tile floors and to one of the room dressers, but again, I wasn't looking for luxury...I was looking for a home for two days. So it's all good! I ended up deciding to pay for one extra night.
