Location, room was clean and comfortable, nice staff - checked in pretty late and they gave me good recommendations.
They don't have any facilities within the hotel - you have to cross the road to the Ruby if you want to dine, laundry, etc.
It was clean enough to stay overnight.
Floors were very squeaky in the bathroom area.
Good location to national park. Clean and comfy.
Squeaky floors. Would have hate to have been on bottom floor.
While this is a 'value-minded' hotel, it does not mean that management is content cutting corners. When we left for the day to spend at Bryce, I stopped by the office to inform them that our toilet was clogged, but that we'd be gone for the day, so it wasn't extremely urgent. The lady told me it would be taken care of. We stopped back around lunchtime briefly and the toilet hadn't been fixed yet. No big deal. When we returned at 5:30, it still wasn't fixed. I stopped by the office again and explained the situation, and the woman was very apologetic, and promised me someone would be there in a few minutes. I told her, "That's OK, these things happen." and she told me, "No, it's not OK. This should have been taken care of long before this. I'm very sorry". Sure enough, about 5 minutes later the maintenance guy came out. It took him a few tries, but he got it fixed and everything was fine. A short time later, the manager knocked on our door apologizing again for the inconvenience. She offered us a gift card for across the street as a good-will gesture. That showed me that even though this is a budget hotel, management is not content to offer mediocre service.
The front door had a huge gap around it, making it very easy to hear people talking outside. I can't imagine the draft in the winter. The front door didn't close easily from the outside. It may have only needed some WD-40 around the lock, but I needed to slam it from the outside to close it. Often, the top plastic piece of the card reader would fall off. I made this known to the office when I explained the toilet not working, but when the maintenance guy finally showed up, the door was the least of my concerns.
Loved it and will definitely go back. Great deal for your money. Super clean, especially the bathrooms.
Location and price
Weak wireless connection
the room ha not been cleened for the second day of our stay
Room had all you need for a one or two night stay. Clean and excellent location next to Bryce Canyon.
Staff was not friendly and treating customers in a factory like way....next...They seemed also there against their will...maybe they should then choose another job.
location near national park and walking access to all adventure amenities, stores, restaurants.
this is a tourist factory, there are no personal touches. the view in the name of hotel is other tourist places not the canyon.
Very close to the entrance of Bryce canyon. Shuttle pick up and drop off point. Walking distance to eateries, Post office and General store.
