The billing was absolutely absurd - Kayak offered me a rate of less than $50/day. Budget then added all these hidden fees — like a 130€ “location” fee for renting the vehicle for the airport. The final bill was more than 2x what Kayak had offered me.Reviewed May 13 2024

It took 2hrs for me to get my rental keys when I landed. I had to wait 1.5hrs just to get checked in and then another 30mins just to pick up the keys after being checked in. Absolutely ridiculous.Reviewed May 13 2024

Everything nice but manager at Cape Coral was not polite. We arrived 25 minutes before our appointment. Waited in line and was called to the counter by nice lady ( our place in line). When she started with us a man behind us was 1 1/2 late for his pick up and the manager told the lady not to help us but help the man behind us. So another 20 minute wait putting us behind schedule. I said to her that she should have asked us if he could go ahead and she said that policy is to help the earliest reservations first even if they were late.Reviewed May 12 2024

The pick up was ok. The car had a problem besides it was filthy. The biggest problem the car would not start when I stopped and tried to restart it. Hence they refused to fill with petrol and then budget charged my card $185 to fill the car. A Toyota Yaris Rip off watch outReviewed May 11 2024
