I needed a car at the last minute due to a canceled flight from Tucson. The only way to get to our destination for a celebratory event was to book a flight on another airline from Phoenix. I was able to make a car reservation online from my phone which was easy to do. When the counter opened the service person was very helpful but the added charges were very confusing and unclear. What started as a less than one-day rental to get from the Tucson airport to Phoenix airport costing about $100 turned into a rental for less than 8 hours for $250. The Chrysler Pacifica had lots of pet hair (cat or dog), dirt, debri, & etc. It would have been better for me as a customer, to have been clean. At least vacuumed to get the pet hair up/out/gone.Reviewed May 21 2024

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent car rental attempt at Barcelona Airport. Despite having a confirmed reservation and providing all required details, including my credit card from Kosovo, I was informed upon arrival that Budget does not accept credit cards from my region. This refusal caused significant inconvenience and additional expenses, as I had to secure a rental from another company, GoldCar, at four times the original cost. Furthermore, at no point during the reservation process was I informed of this regional restriction, which I find unacceptable.Reviewed May 21 2024

Liked the easy pickup process in Boston and the Nissan rogue had all the options like heated seats, steering wheel, full sunroof and all the driver assist technologies. The only knock is that the rogue was pretty beat up all the way around. Scratches, dents, trim I clipped, etc. No real big deal for us but she looked kinda haggard. On day two the rogue’s air conditioning died. We went to the Budget rental counter at the Bangor Maine airport and they swapped us for a loaded Jeep Grand Cherokee with no hassle in all of 15 minutes. That event earned huge brownie points for Budget in my book. If I had to pick on something it would be that the Jeep reeked of cigarette smoke so we immediately went to Walmart for a pack of liquid air vent fresheners that helped a lot.Reviewed May 20 2024

Pick up was efficient , car was great. Lot easy to navigate. The drop off went smoothly they only issue was getting my emailed receipt, this has been a problem several times when I have rented from budget. , I have had to call and they always say they don’t have my email address which is a lie since they send me emails ALL THE TIME. And the staff can’t answer why this keeps happening and can’t transfer me to anyone who can tell my why it happening because apparently I’m the only one who has this problem (I asked them that specifically)Reviewed May 20 2024
