Plas Dinas Country House Description
Plas Dinas is a 17th century gentleman's residence with later additions. It is situated in its own grounds and possesses outstanding views towards the Snowdonia Mountain range, Anglesey, the Menai Straits and the Irish Sea. Plas Dinas came into the possession of the Armstrong-Jones family in the 19th century. Anthony Armstrong-Jones became Lord Snowdon on his marriage to her Royal Highness Princess Margaret in 1960. The couple were frequent visitors to Plas Dinas in the 1960's. The property retains the atmosphere of a traditional country house and contains much of the family furniture, memorabilia and portraits. Our rooms are individually styled and reflect the historic character of the property. Accommodation is provided in nine unique bedrooms all with ensuite facilities.
