The owners of this small hotel are fabulous nothing is too much trouble.Wonderful place to base yourselves in this region, but need a car to get around as limited tours after summer.
When I asked the owner to book a taxi to Le Cite he drove us there himself. Very friendly and helpful.
You really need a car if you are going to stay at this hotel.
Ann and I were welcomed by Muryel and Serge and given great advice about local trips and restaurants. The room was very stylish and the breakfast was delicious!
Domaine De Marseillens was stunning and Serge and Muryel welcomed us into their home as friends and not as paying guests. Our room was comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated in keeping with the building which was an old winery . Breakfast was a work of art with fresh produce every morning and the table decorations changed on a daily basis. We all sat at the one long table and conversation with other guests from other countries was very interesting!
The property is quite a bit out of Carcassone and you need to take a taxi into the city at 14-20 euros each time. The bus runs only at school times.
