4 stars charming Residence Hotel La Vetreria is situated in the historical centre of the baroque city art Catania, next to Ursino Castle, one of the few buildings to have survived the earthquake of 1693 and various volcanic eruptions. Recently renovated, the castle houses today the Catania Civic Museum and a gallery of local art. 22 rooms shared in 13 apartments of different sizes inside a beautifully restored' 900 century old building, that since 1924 housed a glassworks factory. Renovated and transformed in 2002 into a residence-hotel the owners manage it and it is perfect for short or long stay of individual or groups looking for the cosy atmosphere together with a special care. The Residence has a capacity of 56 people. An apartment is also predisposed for disabled guests. In the rooms, as in the whole house, you can notice a special care for details just to make the stay really comfortable. Private garage is just 200 meters far, while inside the building there is a motorcycles and bikes shelter.
