The staff was accommodating and friendly.
The room was on the smaller side. On Saturday evening, the main entree was 2 macaroni and cheese and baked potatoes. The soup was chili Friday and Saturday. The pool was closed for half the visit but I didn't know until after buying & 'no refund'
Free dinner and alcoholic beverages
The room was a little to small and the walls to thin...
Could mot have been better. Great staff. Clean. Lots of amenities, Comfortable!
the popcorn and soda
Great breakfast, location.
The shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser in the bathroom was weird. Big black chunks of mold came out of the conditioner.
convenience to walk to various retail and food venues. near highway.
Free food at night
it's showing the years. Very slow elevator
Free upgrade to King room upon check in, free beverages and snacks, free in-room wifi, and of course, the free breakfast.
Amazing stay for the money. Free drinks, snacks, and breakfast!
Staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. Very good amenities.
They would not let us check in because we were celebrating my nephew's birthday and no matter what they will not allow swimming parties. The front desk staff was incredibly rude and the manager told us we had to leave, it was awful.
old damp smell, pets on premises, and poor venelation. was surprise that eventhough suite is part of the name we didnt have a suite room. it was tight.
The hotel was fine
The hot tub only held 4 people. Breakfast was somewhat a joke. No forks in any of the 5 bins that held forks. Told front desk and it took 20 minutes for someone to refill the forks. Lots of the food was gone. OJ was empty.
Skip the breakfast, which is included.
The breakfast is fine, better than average.
There are ants at the corners of my room. I dropped a used towel on the carpet, the next morning I found lines of ant army on it. I needed to do complete laundry and cleaning right after I got home, otherwise the ants would have occupied my own house.
Close to U of I.
As we walked to our room heard several different rooms that had barking dogs.. in the morning some guy had his dog in his arms at the breakfast buffet.. yuck! --- and dog slept in the bed I'm sleeping in tonight. no thanks! Will not stay at again
The room was well appointed and comfortable.
The walls between rooms did not do much to reduce sounds from other rooms. The internet access was very spotty to the point that I could not conduct business. I am not sure if they did not have enough boosting stations or not enough bandwidth.
Clean rooms, location
The manager and front desk person said there was no possible way I could upgrade to a suite (paid even0 and then put us on the 1st floor in the noisy wing of the hotel, we had to switch rooms at 11 p.m. because of a domestic between a man and a woman next
location free meals, pool
The refrigerator was not working properly, could not keep drinks cold.
I was very happy with the Hotel and have stayed several times at the Champaign/Urbana location over the years. Love the rooms and the attention that they give each guest especially my elderly mother. Loved the great free breakfast the evening Free food/drink program.
We did not spend that much time at the hotel - not why we visited. But the beds were comfortable, the breakfast food plenty, and the room was good sized. The computer and printer in the lobby made it easy to check in for our flight out. No fuss. We would consider staying here again.
My family and I have been going to U of I a lot recently and have been staying at hotels on campus, or very close. This time I had remembered years ago staying at a Drury Inn, and really liking it. We decided to try them knowing they were going to be a little drive from campus, and it is a little drive. Anyways it was great! The people were so nice and friendly, plus the bed & pillows were to die for! I will always be willing to go the small distance to stay at this hotel.
Good location, first class rooms and excellent staff. The free drinks and appetizers were a plus also.
Clean, well maintained, friendly staff, comfortable, convenient, highly recommended and I'm a fairly picky traveler! Probably the ONLY complaint I had is that there is no exhaust fan in the toilet/tub area.
Stayed here for a business meeting at the hotel. Clean rooms, great exercise room (would prefer that everyone going by couldn't see you through the glass), great breakfast buffet, helpful staff (extended my stay after requesting it after checkout)
My overall stay was excellant. The only problem we had was associated with the room key. The first two key cards did not work. They fixed another key and it worked until the next morning when we came back from seeing friends and it did not work so I had to go back and get another one. It was a minor inconvenience. The facilities were immaculate, the staff was friendly and very helpful.
