Pick up was quick and easy. Drop off was an issue. I took a photo of the mileage and fuel gauge to show but was just asked for the keys. I was billed for not fueling the truck. Ended up having to call customer service due to being incorrectly charged for not filling the truck

The vehicle I needed was not available. I needed a 15-passenger van. That’s what I reserved but the best they could give me was a 12-passenger van. My price was only slightly reduced and my plans were severely inconvenienced. I was offered a second car, but I didn’t have a second driver.

They gave us a Hyundai Ikona which could not accelerate. Brake pads seemed to be worse for wear. We are lucky we survived as the vehicle had a lot of issues driving on the freeway and we had to be extra careful. We paid 600 for 3 days for a crappy car.

What a great experience. Our flight was 3 hours late, so I called ahead to say we would be arriving shortly after closing hours and ask for assistance. The Budget counter stayed open for us and for others on the same plane. We sat next to a woman on the plane who had called a different rental agency and been told no, if she didn't arrive on time, no car. We will be using Budget for all rentals from now on.

THe woman who checked me in was great (at the counter in the Colorado Springs airport). Offered me an upgrade and explained insurance. She was great! I got to the car and half the drivers seat was busted on the side. I drove to the kiosk in the parking lot and that woman was RUDE AS H*LL. I asked where i can have it documented about the seat so i didn't get blamed for it. She told me to take a picture. I questioned the validity of that response and she acted like I was dumb saying, "It date/time stamped". I asked her to document in my reservation, she declined. I asked for a business card she said she had none. I asked her name and for a pc of paper and pen. She told me her name but didn't come forward with the pen/paper. I saw a yellow sticky note right inside the window so grabbed it and wrote her name down with MY pen from my purse. THat woman NEEDS TO GO! I would have thought she would have asked if i want a different car - no offer made...and I wouldn't have taken it, just wanted it documented that the drives seat was coming apart (the plastics). Mind you I had a 17 hr drive ahead of me. I still love ya, Budget - just need to give that woman some customer service training please. Maybe have the check in clerk give the parking lot kiosk woman the training :)

Beware. About a week after our return we received a letter igniting we would be charged $450 because the exterior of the car was too dirty. $450 to wash a car???? We were caught in rain and drove on a dusty gravel road. The Jeep was a 4x4. The interior of the car was returned in spotless condition. There was no damage to the exterior, etc. It was dirty. Beware.

The vehicle was not fully cleaned. There was dust and dirt 1/2 inch deep at the rear entry. The front window was streaked with something on the inside and outside that required serious effort to remove. There was no owner's manual in the vehicle, you had to figure out the controls on the console and on the steering column by trial and error. The serious FM function of the radio was not activated at initial delivery. The option was not offered at pickup.

I asked for an all wheel drive vehicle and was not given one which I was not aware of until getting stuck. For the rest of my time I could not drive up to my accommodations and had to have elderly travel companions walk up a snow covered icy driveway several times due to the fear of getting stuck again. Both of them fell. Given the conditions of my travel in the mountains of CO the vehicle was inadequate.

Definitely was a friendly staff member who helped with car. What I did not like and this is on the company was that my 23 year old son was not allowed (due to computer flagging him as underage) to be a registered driver. That is ridiculous. He has a clean license, and to be then told the minimum age to drive the rental is 25. Unfortunately if this is the rule I will not be able to rent from Hertz/Dollar again.

Rented a car two separate times for this trip. This location was the smoothest car rental experience I've ever had. I rented from them the second time because of how good the experience was the first time. Consistently good service. Courteous staff, and quick checkout/return.

As a Gold Member with Hertz, I had a confirmation that a vehicle was set for me to pick up. The Hertz representative at the counter mentioned they did not have any vehicles available even after I provided a confirmation. He mentioned that all their vehicles were reserved, that I should go to another rental agency to see if they have any available to rent. I am very, very, very disappointed with wasting my time and would never rent a vehicle from Hertz.

Pick up and drop off were good. The Nissan Armada wasn't very clean. Interm wipers didn't work. The gas cap was broken. The ride seemed like the vehicle needed new shocks. Possible, given the vehicle had 55,000+ miles. This was not a good value.
