When I showed up for my reservation, they told me they had no cars. I made a reservation the night before and when I arrived to pick up my car, I was stranded there because I had no way to get anywhere else. I had to walk on some busy main roads with no shoulder or sidewalk to get to another car rental place. False advertising for cars that were not actually there and it left me in an unsafe situation.10.0 Wonderful

My pick up in Gettysburg PA went well. Very professional.Cons:
The vehicle didn't drive well. It felt like it was badly in need of an alignment. I decided to exchange it in Kansas City International Airport. When I called them, the phone would ring for several minutes before they would answer. Twice someone lifted the handset and just hung it up. When I finally got someone and did the exchange, I realized an hour later I had left something in the car I had turned in. I called (and again struggled to get someone on the phone) and was told they would check the car and call me back. Three hours later, they hadn't called back. I called again and was told they didn't know which car I'd returned. It seems strange that their computers can't tell them that but I gave them the car information and was told that they'd call me back. An hour and a half later, with no response, I decided to just drive in and ask in person. Then they said they'd go check the car and brought my item to me two minutes later. Worst customer service ever. Also, when I drove in, there was only one other customer there. If didn't appear that they were exceptionally busy. So disappointed with Hertz.Enterprise Rent-A-Car
