Super nice staff.Wasnt told about how the tolls work in Maryland, or what the charge if we used the EasyPass. Car was given to me not filled up but was told to return it full.

When I showed up for my reservation, they told me they had no cars. I made a reservation the night before and when I arrived to pick up my car, I was stranded there because I had no way to get anywhere else. I had to walk on some busy main roads with no shoulder or sidewalk to get to another car rental place. False advertising for cars that were not actually there and it left me in an unsafe situation.

They called when the vehicle was running late and that wasn’t a problem. They were very nice and had the car ready when I got there. Overall good experience.

It was okThe price, it had plenty of room and it was new.It was an all wheel drive crossover so fuel mile wasn't too good, windshield was so bad I had to clean it inside and out.

Poor customer service in Kansas CityMy pick up in Gettysburg PA went well. Very professional.The vehicle didn't drive well. It felt like it was badly in need of an alignment. I decided to exchange it in Kansas City International Airport. When I called them, the phone would ring for several minutes before they would answer. Twice someone lifted the handset and just hung it up. When I finally got someone and did the exchange, I realized an hour later I had left something in the car I had turned in. I called (and again struggled to get someone on the phone) and was told they would check the car and call me back. Three hours later, they hadn't called back. I called again and was told they didn't know which car I'd returned. It seems strange that their computers can't tell them that but I gave them the car information and was told that they'd call me back. An hour and a half later, with no response, I decided to just drive in and ask in person. Then they said they'd go check the car and brought my item to me two minutes later. Worst customer service ever. Also, when I drove in, there was only one other customer there. If didn't appear that they were exceptionally busy. So disappointed with Hertz.

trouble !!Car was nice, rep gave us some perks due to bad experienceNoone at desk for pickup at hotel in Gettysburg . Contacted main office who advised we go to Harrisburg- immediately - to pick up a car there. Reminded them that it was an hours drive away and we did not have a car, thats why we were hiring one! Phone at Hertz desk in hotel was ringing while we waited for someone to show up, - noone ever did -so I answered a few rental enquiries !! the phones message box was full so no message could be left so I wrote an note and left it on desk. Apparently messages were to go to reps cellphone but it had not been set up for this. Noone in the hotel had her telephone number or knew anything about her " we just rent the space"eventually got a call fro rep, she picked us up at our hotel and brought us out to rental desk.

I reserved a car that wasnt available and had to travel an hour to another location to get a vehicle. Once there I was given a filthy car that had a nail in the tire. When the tire went flat I was charged for them to change the tire, that took over an hour, then was told I could not drive the car on the spare and would have to exchange the car but they didnt have one available so I was to wait where I was for a regional manager to locate a car and call me back. 4+ hours later I was tired of waiting so I started calling different locations until I found a location with a car available. I drove to that location because they do not "pick you up" That location was friendly and exchanged the car for me painlessly but again I was given a dirty car. Now I have to turn this car in late... Due to the 5+ hour delay and will be charged another day for it.

The drop off was fine. The pickup was not good.I went through Hotwire to get a good rate on renting a car. The lady did not believe me when I got the full coverage for the car rental. 11.00 dollars for the day.

It was very easy process to pick up the car. The rep was very friendly and made sure we knew everything we need to know about the car.The car need a better cleaning. The front window was streaky and better vacuuming of the car would have been appreciated.

Very easy, price was correct, NO SurprisesGary, the manager handled my pickup. Great experience and easy as could possibly be. I will probably rent from them in the future. Also, return was smooth, I wish I gotten the person's name. It was easy, no surprises, no extra changes, good stuff.I have no complaints.
