While staying at the Super 8 in Cobleskill, I encountered the following issues with my room: Outdated furnishings; broken coffee maker spewing sediment and filth; one of my chairs reeked of nicotine (non-smoking room) - the other was stained and disgusting; broken shower curtain that sags and won’t close; toilet seat that won’t stay up, but instead violently and loudly falls midstream while peeing; totally clogged drain in bathroom sink (the only sink); paper-thin walls that transit sound from other guests easily; Outdated, impractical lighting and layout of room; old bed that smelled; lackluster housekeeping (at times). While some of these complaints were addressed by staff, many I kept to myself since I have zero faith in Americans any longer. Some of the staff are helpful, but some of the late-night staff are rather uncaring and dismissive. The mere fact that the place was allowed to become that was in the first place is concerning. Unfortunately, there are currently few alternatives for stays in Cobleskill, so these crooks have virtually no competition, and thus have no incentive to improve. Not Recommended.
