Motel 6 Burlington - Colchester VT is located just minutes from downtown Burlington, Lake Champlain and Mallets Bay. Area shopping, restaurants, and many other attractions are nearby. Features include all smoke-free modern rooms with outdoor pool.
Excellent customer service.
The door locked and had a deadbolt. Close to Burlington.
Had to ask for towels. Beds never made. Loud and scary clientele. Ran out of toilet paper.
You get what you pay for. Inexpensive, decent location. Clean rooms.
The hallways stank like cigarettes and there was nothing in the rooms at all (no extra pillows or blankets, no toiletries, etc). Also the walls were paper thin so it was noisy.
Great, friendly staff at desk
For a non smoking hotel there was an awful lot of "partying" Going on
noisy, rooms are Spartan like. the basic of basic. Totally non-frill
Easy check in and out. Proximity was great. Room was in good shape. The shower was good. Workers found a new room quickly, near our other room when there was a stale smoke smell.
First room smelled of smoke. the key cards to one of the rooms stopped working after a day. Little tripped down but not a surprise with the cost.
I basically only use the hotel to sleep and shower, and perhaps pass some time watching TV. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the TV worked, so all was good in that respect. The staff was courteous and helpful ... I ALWAYS appreciate that.
The hotel lacked many amenities that I've come to expect over my years of travel. For a two star hotel, one would expect a simple breakfast. They charge $2.99/day for wifi access (really?!!!... You get free wifi at McD and you don't even need to buy a $1 coffee). There are no ice machines on the upper floors. The towels, although abundant were thin and scratchy (rag pile material a home). Also lacking were: hair blower, iron,'do not disturb' sign for the door, scratch pad and pen, any shampoo, lotion or conditioner, Kleenex tissues, coffee maker, and that notebook I always look for that contains the hotel policies and area food and attractions. As you can see, it was a clean, but "bare bones" hotel.
Room had been recently renovated and was clean and fresh appearing.
nothing, there was running around noise all night long upstairs like kids running. doors slamming a the time.
This was the nicest Motel 6 I have ever I have stayed in. Great location near the interstate and very very clean.
The signage was not good. We had a hard time finding it because it was behind a McDonald's
very minimal room decor and services
I was pleasantly surprized at how up to date everything was at the motel and in my room. (P.S. - directing me to not use offensive language in my response is insulting to me as a customer!)
Again this is offensive directions and for that reason I am not responding to this question.
Clean. Located near the restarants Good value for money
The recption was pretty rude
Meet fellow EMT's
When someone used a shower around or above my room. The pipes made extremely loud noises at 4a. So I left.
Staff was friendly and very helpful, they were great.
Would have liked a work out area and a few items in the room, shampoo and kleenix!
I thought the price was fair for the room they offered. I also liked the bathroom. It was larger than l anticipated.
The people were kind of sketchy. But that's what you get for $45 per night:)
Location was ok. When checking out, the staff was courteous and pleasant - and - a big plus, she took ownership of the staff side of the problem and offered compensation. That, in and of itself, deserves high marks. I didn't really complain loudly because I guess you stay at a Motel 6, you're kind of "asking for it" - although I would have hoped I was wrong - the Motel 6 in Danvers, MA was much better than this one. But to the credit of the staff on Sunday, they didn't "pass the buck" like a different Burlington-area hotel did.
It was a lot "cheaper" than other Motel 6's I remember staying at. I asked for a couple of specifics when I checked in... got none of what I asked for and some opposite of what I asked for. Room has no amenities, cheapie towels that are best described as dried towelettes, no clock.... ugh. And worst of all, the price was a little high, especially for what you get.
