New, clean motel with easy access to Texas A&M via car
This is not a $----- rate hotel. It is a $----- rate hotel. I expect La Quinta, Holiday Inn Express, etc...for a total bill of $----....not a Ramada Inn. I was overcharged and don't appreciate it.
room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel is right on the freeway @ University close to restaurants.
It was great!
I like the side of the room and the location was good . and very nice overall
The room was spotless and very large. While we didn't use them, the refridgerator and microwave are nice additions in the room. While the hotel is outside of the main part of College Station, it is still relatively close to everything.
Hard fat pillows.
Location is within walking distance of several restaurants.Easy access off of and onto Hwy 6.
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, good hot breakfast.
Room and hotel both clean and well maintained. Room spacious.
Breakfast was lacking in selection available. A juice bar would have been a nice touch.
Nice and clean; staff very nice; weight room ok
maybe a little nicer gym
This was a very nice, newer hotel and the staff was very cordial. I would recommend to others.
it was very clean, with larger than expected rooms. large fridge/freezer and microwave.
the location is very awkward to get to if you are coming from the university
The housekeepers threw the pillows on the ground and did not change the pillowcases. The head housekeeper said we had to tell them to put the pillows on the table. Also the head housekeeper was very rude and so were the housekeepers.
The heat did not work and we were cold all night.
Our main complaint about this hotel was the small square pillows on the beds. None of us could sleep comfortably on them. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't have full size pillows on a queen bed. We will choose another hotel the next time we travel to College Station.
We have stayed here twice and will stay here again if we return.
I travel 20 nights/month at least so I expect cleanliness, comfort, friendliness and decent linens. Despite being relatively new, this hotel is showing some wear. The mustiness that permiates the hallways must be unbearable in the summertime! The carpets smell smell like they need to be replaced d/t mold. The breakfast is the substandard high carb no protein continental that is reminisant of the 20+ years ago normal. The excercise room and their beds are the best part. I stayed 4 days and with coming and going many times I was acknowledged once! The staff either are busy talking to each other, reading, working on the computer or watching the large TV in the lobby; never looking up to make eye contact much less give a friendly greeting. The access is also an issue as it is just before the corner on a one way freeway access. This makes it really easy to get onto the freeway but have to get back to the hotel without going 1.8 miles out of your way. There are good restaurants near by but unless you walk, you have the same problem getting back. The noise from the freeway is another issue. I asked for a room on the back side knowing this and there is a shop that has all bays open late at night shining lights. This might be a problem in lower levels. The ice machine is audible through several rooms. TV's and radios are set against walls.
great value for the money...feels brand new, so clean and modern! comfy room and wonderful bed, great breakfast with yummy texas-shaped waffles cooked fresh and crisp! try it, you'll LOVE it : ))
Next week will be the third time we've stayed there in less than six months. The staff is friendly and helpful.
We have stayed here several times and always have an enjoyable stay!
Rooms were nice and clean. Hotel was quiet even though it was on the highway. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close to lots of places.
Enjoyed our stay! All new, clean, quiet and a nice fresh breakfast in the morning for less than $*. Staff were courteous and attentive. We'll be back!
