The rooms were nice and big. The lobby was nice.

The attached restaurant was pretty expensive, but so were other restaurants in the surrounding area. Basically, you are paying triple everything because of proximity to the Grand Canyon. (Proximity was nice.)

We stayed here because we wanted to spend the day at the Grand Canyon, and didn't want to travel very far after. The proximity was nice, but as was EVERYTHING in this town, (gas per gallon was $4.37 compared to $3.59 average around Arizona) the hotel was overpriced, in my opinion. But we decided to splurge for the one night. It was also 4th of July weekend... The room was large and comfortable, although the fridge had a weird red button on the inside, and we weren't sure how to work it. It seems as if this hotel may have bought out another, so there are 2 separate buildings. I wanted to go swimming, but our building housed the 'spa' which consists of 2 glorified hot tubs, and we couldn'...

Location

The room was very small, no fridge, no microwave, very small beds and old 80's furniture. No sink in bathroom and very small. Price with tax almost---.

The staff seemed put out when we I called the front desk and mentioned my dissatisfaction. It turns out the price on the room was usually----but because I reserved it in a few days earlier the cost was higher. I asked for a roll away to be added since the beds were so small that my son and I couldn't sleep in it together and we are not big people. They wanted to charge an extra $10. The beds in the room were smaller than a full size. Also they let you know at check in that there is No breakfast included. I did talk with the manager who offered to give us the rollaway and he called back and then offered to put us in a different room, which we did. I was a little bigger with a microwave and fridge. Sink in bathroom. A little nicer but overall I would say this is a pig in a dress. Avoid if you...

Rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Bathroom has large tub/shower combo and big vanities. Also, a second vanity is outside bathroom.

Window did not lock, air conditioner barely worked and coffee maker was broken. We told the staff when checking out and they barely seemed to care. Not worth the high cost of our stay.

This was a very disappointing experience, the staff made us feel like herded cattle and yet we arrived without a group. It was a very basic room and the toilet did not flush even liquid down. I will NOT be staying at this hotel again. No parking near room

For the price, even that close to the Grand Canyon was not worth it. We stayed the next night at the canyon for the same price and had excellent customer service and felt like individuals and beautiful accommodations, our toilet worked, the shower was not in need of work like at red feather.

Close to the South Rim and reasonably priced.

The AC/heater didn't always work, but it wasn't a major problem.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean, had comfortable beds and a Keurig coffee maker. It was located ~10 minutes from the Grand Canyon rim.

It was more money than comparable hotels in the area and did not have a refrigerator (it is a very 'green' hotel so this is understandable).

Location

The ac system is old and loud. A fire alarm went off so everyone left the rooms and waited outside the building. No staff bothered to check on the guests and let us know everything is alright. The staff lacks hospitality.

I have nothing more to say.

This hotel is a 'Super simple' hotel. Don't expect this to be so nice, but it did meet my expectation with decent and neatly maintained rooms. It's definitely worth for the money paid !

It was convenient to the Grand Canyon National Park. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Air conditioning in the room didn't work. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked for information they talked to me like I was nuisance and gave me the bare minimum information. Overall, although the hotel itself was comfortable and clean the staff were below average and didn't seem to know much about the National Park.

Location was just what I was looking for. It was clean. The room was what was expected from a Holiday Inn Express.

Wi-Fi was lacking - very slow. There was a flier that the service provider was the issue. The sink faucet leaked at the handle whenever you turned it on. Some of the staff seemed very indifferent to customers.

I like to stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels when I travel as they are always clean, no problems, have good amenities, etc. This hotel compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels seemed just a bit lower in standard in comparison - not bad, just not as good as others I have stayed at. I would say the employees seemed less enthusiastic and the price was certainly higher.

Location, right at the entrance to Grand Canyon National Park with access to free public transportation into the park

Would have liked two double beds but not really an issue

It had a fridge, microwave and sink.

The bed was really low to the floor and the chairs in the room were wooden, a little shaky, and not very comfortable.

The room was actually off site from the hotel about 2 or 3 miles. The room was clean and for the most part met our needs.

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.

More questions or if you have a bad price to report to us
