It was a very nice hotel, old mixed with the new and must be amasing in the summer with all of the outdoor furiture and lovely surroundings. The food and restaurant were very good, I would reccomend it to anyone. We were going to the races and if was a perfect distance away (40 mins) and much cheeper and better than the city hotels and B&Bs which were over £100 a night up to £500 plus.
The only let down was the shower, it was just a mixer tap with a shower extention mounted on the wall over the bath. A propoer shower over the bath would have been perfect
