Nestled in the woods of Corbin, Kentucky is beautiful Cumberland Falls. Not far from the falls is Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. Within the boundaries of the park are the DuPont Lodge, a number of rental cabins, some cottages, and also several campsites.

The lodge has 51 rooms that were all renovated in 2006. Inside the lodge, guests will have free WiFi, TVs, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and coffeemakers. The cabins and cottages can be booked with one or two bedrooms and give visitors a little more privacy and space. Those who are looking to be outdoors more can reserve a campsite.

Riverview Restaurant is located inside DuPont Lodge. It overlooks the river valley and serves locally sourced food for all three daily meals. There are BBQ grills around the property for guests to use. Other options for dining include picnicking in the park. Restaurants nearby include Bubby’s BBQ, Seasons Restaurant, and The Wrigley Taproom & Eatery.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is a place to enjoy nature. Cumberland Falls is lovingly called the “Niagara of the South.” The moonbow at the falls is a popular thing to see. On full moon nights that are clear, guests can experience this natural show at Cumberland Falls. There’s even a “Rainbow Mist Ride” that can be booked through a local company. Other activities are swimming, hiking, biking, golfing, fishing, boating, and so much more.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is a great location to take a family for a vacation, or for workgroups to go for some good team building. There’s plenty to do and a lot to see in this destination.
