Everything about our visit was pleasant, comfortable and convenient, enabling us to happily celebrate a family wedding in the area. We all enjoyed those cinnamon buns!
Nothing of consequence
Breakfast was nice.
The guy at checkin said we may not have a room even though I prepaid. And the 70s era looking sleeper sofa was so bad my kid opted to sleep with me instead!
Great location, well maintained building, clean room
Location staff good at the front very helpful
Breakfast begins very early, and they were great. When we arrived at the hotel, coffee was ready.
staff was great, room was clean and morning breakfast was good
kind of hard to find sits back off the main road behind some business's.
No smoking! Nice, clean room with comfy bed. Very convenient location. Loved the wardrobe instead of a closet.
Only 1 chair in the room. With 2 people, could have used another.
I liked how clean the rooms were and its convenient location. The free breakfast was filling and the staff friendly.
Nice breakfast..many choices. Good experience overall.
Bathroom was dirty. Long, black hair was on the floor and left in the bathtub. Better cleaning job needed here.
It was quiet and had a mini fridge and microwave.
Room was outdated. Toilet ran all night.
Convenient location near the PA Turnpike and several restaurants. Priceline got me a great price through an Express Deal.
The breakfast was adequate, but totally uninspired.
This is the first review I've completed for a hotel, but this place was so great I had to take the time to give them the credit they deserve! The room was clean and well furnished. I didn't see any signs of old or outdated furniture or fixtures. The TV was a large LCD model, and the beds very comfortable. There is a microwave and a larger size mini-fridge in the room to go with the coffee maker. We had no problem stocking it with a case of water bottles to always have cold water handy. The continental breakfast was more like a full breakfast, with an excellent selection of hot and cold items. The pancake maker was a nice touch, turning out hot, fresh pancakes in less than a minute. They keep the coffee pots stocked all day, with fruit, cookies and Nutri-grain bars available at different times of the day. The exercise room was furnished with two treadmills, an elliptical machine and a cycle. The front desk even has complimentary bottled water on hand. Try to get that at Hilton! The staff was friendly, with always someone at the desk. I'll gladly stay there again the next time we visit the area.
Helpfulness of staff
not the best value. Was too expensive for quality of room Breakfast was disgusting. Would rather pay less and just have good coffee and donuts.
Staff was friendly
We ended up with a smoking room that was terrible. I had called and requested a non smoking room after I booked from priceline but when we got there, they only had a smoking room.
Its pet friendly and reasonably clean for the price..
The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is excellent. The breakfast area is quite nice. Always a pleasant stay.
Due to the fact that I booked the room on Travel Website the hotel gave me a smoking room although I don't smoke. The hotel was not full but they said I could not obtain a non-smoking room. The hotel staff did not change the sheets in the room and they smelled like smoke from the last visitor. In addition, the room was not very clean and room cleaning left the lights on all day although I didn't return to the room until 8 pm most nights.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it is customary to give a credit card number for ''incidental'' charges, after checking out, I received a receipt with a zero balance. When I looked at the receipt closer, I realized that I had been charged an additional fee for ''accomodations'' and charged for more tax, even though I had already paid them through online travel website. After contacting hotel management, they admitted that I was overcharged, and eventually refunded my money. The customer service skills of the management staff were less than satisfactory. If you stay at this hotel, please check your credit card statement to make sure you weren't charged additional amounts that you shouldn't be paying!
Stayed here for a night on a long road trip. This particular Holiday Inn Express has been here for a while, but has been kept up and remodeled. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hot breakfast in the morning is always welcome. Close to major highway intersections. Very quiet. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.
