Pros:Not a damn thing
Cons:I booked this on 3/8 for the 5/12-5-15 trip. I was told it was good to go. Lies. Dollar and Kayak never disclosed that if you where going to use a debit card, you must pass a credit check. My credit is a bit low, but I had the money in my account and had budgeted not only for the cost of the rental, but a $300 deposit. So after I was told, 800+ Miles from home, A few hours from reuniting my wife with her daughter who she had not seen in 12 years.. that Dollar was not going to provide me a car unless I could provide a credit card (That I don't have), I went to Avis, paid more, got a car and got customer service that cared and worked for me.. AND it was a $200 deposit. So even though I paid more, in the end, I got a car, made the trip and my wife was with her daughter for not only Mothers day, but for her HS Graduation. When Dollar failed, Avis came through for us. I will never use Dollar, no Kayak again and this is being shared far and wide.
Pros:All of the above criteria. At the Wichita airport rental location there was no high pressure to add unwanted services/features like you get at many car rental companies. The price quoted is what I paid. No time-consuming security procedure to go thru after getting in the car; just load up and drive out of the parking lot. No problems at check-in. (Just to be on the safe side I still took pictures of the car before and after. I've read too many horror stories about phony charges other companies try to put on unsuspecting customers.)
Cons:No complaints at all.
Pros:Cleanliness of the vehicle.....when it finally got there.
Cons:The truck wasn't even at the location. I had to wait 45 minutes for the truck to be brought to the location. Also, the cost for 1 day of rental was higher than quoted on kayak.
Cons:Do not get the "mangers special" it is advertised as Special - Generic Vehicle or similar (translation=compact) it was more expensive then renting the compact to begin with, not sure how they think 5 people and luggage will fit in that car, but service counter was no help so we declined to take a car from them, was told that if we had rented from their website and not Kayak we would have gotten a better deal on a more appropriate car. Will not rent from dollar ever again and will never recommend them.
Cons:Waited an hour and a half for a car when arrived on time
Pros:The process was supper fast, i was happy with everything
Pros:Counter personnel were very friendly and helpful, made things quick and easy (I do not rent cars very often, so it's always a new experience for me). The car (a Hyundai Sonata) was very clean and ready to go. Ran great and had nice cold A/C for these hot summer days. Loved the unlimited miles offer. Reasonable price (I did upgrade from the special I originally booked online). Easy pick up and drop off when I returned. I couldn't be happier!
Pros:car was clean and ran well, although the agent told us we had a full tank of gas and it was a half tank, we had to notify them after we had gotten down the road. Susan Martin
Cons:we were afraid we would have a flat tire because the left rear tire was bald. Thank God we didn't !
Cons:Service was disengaged, the car was beyond uncomfortable and dirty, and they changed my daily rate at drop off.
Pros:Very efficient in every aspect.
