Pros:From front desk to rental return Dollar provided excellent service and value to include a great rental upgrade and great customer service.
Pros:Great price. Nice car. Free XM radio a bonus.
Cons:Too much perfume deodorizer stunk the entire rental period. Stop it!
Cons:Waited in line 45 minutes to rent car. Charged $13.50 per day extra for additional driver.

Cons:A better job can be done at optimizing the availability of cars at the location. Our reserved pickup time was an hour earlier than when we actually arrived at the counter. But, we had to wait about 15 minutes for a car to be cleaned and made available to us.
Cons:Was caught off guard with some squirrely additional "security charges" even though using a Visa branded card. They said they had to run a check that hit my credit score, then when I got my final charges, there is an added $30+ dollar charge that I'm still trying to figure out. (I dropped the car off early and only got my receipt by email). Whole thing feels like a scam.

Cons:Attendant was rude and then added a bogus $52 charge to our fee when we turned in the car. I don't think he expected me to catch it, but I did and when I insisted he remove it, he said there was "nothing I can do, you'll have to call customer service" probably thinking I would just pay it. Well, I called customer service and they tried to make excuses for the fee and say there was nothing they could do. I kept calling and stayed on hold four times for over 2 hours. Finally realizing I was not going away, they reluctantly removed the fee. I also realized 2 hours and 100 miles later I had left my cell phone in the rental car. So I immediately prepared a lost item report on the Dollar website, and followed their instructions. THREE days later, my cell phone showed up on their lost and found list. I waited patiently to get confirmation they were returning it, then finally started emailing, messaging and then calling Dollar's customer service to ask what was happening. I got an email back from CS stating they had not yet found my cell phone, when it had been listed on their OWN lost and found site for FOUR DAYS. This is the most incompetent company I have ever rented from. Nothing but excuses from every employee I spoke with, and 8 days later I still don't know if or when I will ever see my phone again.
Cons:Did not like the requirement to fill the gas tank within 10 miles of drop off and submit receipt. I had already filled the tank the previous night only 16 miles from the drop off and then had to waste time finding a gas station within 10 miles to fill the tank with less than one gallon for $2.07.
I got there to pick up my rental and was told all cars are going in for maintenance. So I didn't get a car and now I'm going back and forth with priceline to get a refund. It been a week.
