Pros:That we actually found the rental car return lot.
Cons:I would strongly suggest no one return a car to Florence as their location is difficult to find, signage is absent, and it was stressful navigating our way because car rental is not right at airport. Check-in is at a mobile home-like setting.
The pick up in Florence was excellent. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The drop off in Rome also was quick and easy. Excellent experience.
Cons:It took us 20 minutes of circling to find the auto rental lot! Very confusing directions, and a GPS was no help.
Pros:The check in person eventually fixed all the problems.
Cons:Though I did no additional damage to the car I am not so sure this would have been accepted if I had not spent the 200 euro for the full insurance and had pictures. Thus my euros made Dollars created mess go away by using the insurance I purchased to pay the damage done previously by someone else and not documented properly.
Pros:The Check in/check out was great. No hustle, no surprise charges. Nice personnel.
Cons:The car (Fiat 500) seemed underpowered.
Pros:Liked that I can get automatic. Very confusing about fuel surcharge. Said I didn’t want it for 95 euros but it was on my receipt so I didn’t fill it up. At drop off I was told that was just shown but would have not charged so I got stuck paying that and a 36 Euro additional service charge.

Cons:We got to the desk and they couldn’t find our reservations even though we had our reservation number. I called your 800 number and they said there’s nothing they could do. We were at the airport rental car counters for over 4 hrs. We had to make new reservations on line and wait to get the car. The rental car counters in Florence are full of people and it takes hours to get things done.
Pros:The staff was nice
Cons:It was very hard to return the car because the rental place was not in the airport and there were no signs that would lead to the place. We almost missed our flight

Cons:Your system is flawed if you have to adjust reservation. It doesn't work and no o e answers the phone to call for fixes.
The reservation was handled through Hertz representative at Florence, Italy airport (Dollar was closed?). I was not given any telephone contacts if I needed roadside assistance or other problems with the rental. I had an issue with a tire pressure indicator and the car manual was in Italian. It was stressful driving late evening with no contact information to interpret the seriousness of the issue. After a long delay, a YouTube video helped resolve the situation. Felt isolated in foreign land.
