I did not like that it was a non, smoking facility. I get non, smoking rooms, but you couldn't even smoke outside unless you did it in your vehicle. I am a very respectful smoker but it is unfair to not be able to smoke outside. I will NOT stay here again
staff was friendly
The building is very old - the floors are uneven, the place should be demolished. This is a very tired and old downtown hotel. The only bright spot was the service provided by staff, it was good and they were friendly.
The location is the best one for anyone who wants to be in the middle of downtown Dover. For people without a car, it is about a 3-minute walk to the train and bus station. The staff is always friendly, the free breakfast O.K., and computer available.
The free breakfast could be upgraded a little. The location is the best one for anyone who wants to be in the middle of downtown Dover. For people without a car, it is about a 3-minute walk to the train and bus station. The staff is always friendly, the free breakfast O.K., and computer available.
The location was very convenient - right in downtown amidst all the stores and restaurants. When we checked in, we got upgraded to a suite so we had plenty of room.
The sink wasn't completely clean; there was another person's hair in the bathroom and the towel rack felt dusty/grimy.When we first arrived, it was dark and looked like a motel...maybe it is technically...because it's not a high-rise and the rooms are spread out, but give this place a chance. It's worth it, especially considering the price. This hotel was very nice - definitely better than a two-star hotel. The room was clean; you could tell the housekeeper took pride in her work because the check-in desk was bedecked with Halloween decorations. The check-in staff were very nice and efficient - they checked us in and out quickly; we were even upgraded to a suite. The parking was free, ample and close to the rooms. The hotel even let us stay in the parking lot after we checked out becau...
Location was walking distance to downtown Dover. Restaurants and amenities around the hotel were nice.
Hotel was very dated. Room needed a thorough cleaning. Above the fridge was a months worth of dust and after moving the tv ( on wheels ) it was clear that the carpet had not seen a vacuum for quite some time. The room was fully equipped with a full kitchen, living area, breakfast table, sofa ( pull out ) and two doubles. I was on my own and didn't need/use any of this but I can see how it would be perfect for several people there for a period of time. Everything was very dated including the beds/bedding.
Friendly receptionist.Friendly receptionists. I enjoyed being able to walk to the restaurants. The room was clean and the area is very quiet.
Very clean and excellent location. Walking distance to many good restaurants, church, etc.
Location. Location. Location.
The low quality towels and shampoos.
Yes! I understand the no smoking on the premises/room, but they could at least provide an area for smokers besides out on the main street(sidewalk)!Perhaps in the back parking lot where people wouldn't be bothered. It's ridiculous to be on the street!!
Room smelled like stale cigerettes. Awful experience
