Room was supposed to be non-smoking. Smoke smell was strong as soon as we entered room. Staff told us it was design of building that all bathrooms share vent and it may draw smell from other rooms.
Everything was old and dirty. Terrible bed and pillows. Would not stay there again.
Very helpful staff recliner in room a definite plus
Cable, variety of breakfast items, although all were pretty much sugar and a few hard boiled eggs.
The furniture in our room was very stained, the curtains had to be pinned shut to stay closed and worst were the cigar burns in the blankets, did not build confidence in cleanliness.Small, bare bones. Not the worst, but could've made an effort to address the above issues that are pretty obvious.
spotty internet in rooms, lobby was the only place were you could get internet. small lobby
The room had dirt and other substances on the walls. Our room was non-smoking, but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was lacking- the coffee had unidentifiable floaties in it and the donuts had an aftertaste of dirt. not a 2 star hotel! The hotel was not a 2 star hotel. The room was visably dirty, the breakfast seemed stale and unclear, and the entire establishment smelled like smoke. Overall, the hotel was lacking and overpriced. I would not stay here again.
staff very nice it had a hot tub very nice after a long drive from KCMO
all was wellIt is very nice easy to get to nice staff
We wished there was wifi and the channel line up on the stand didn't match the tv programming.
The location was great to downtown Duluth.
I felt that the hotel could use some updating. The breakfast area was very small and there wasn't enough room for people to sit.The super 8 in Duluth is an OK motel. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. However, the motel is in need of some updating. The breakfast area could also be bigger. There was not enough room for people to sit and eat. We got the hotel for a decent price, but there are certainly nicer options in Duluth.
