We have stayed here twice before and it's always been a nice stay. This time was dramatically different. At checkin we asked for two extra pillows because the last time we were there the queen bed only had 2 (one per person). The clerk protested and said that our room would have 4 pillows, but he would be willing to give me one extra (just in case). Of course, there were only 2 pillows in the room (I checked everywhere for the other 2, nowhere to be found). Time to take a shower. Ants in the bathroom. No travel sized shampoo or conditioner. The was a leak form the sink. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the variety of channels on the TV...until the remote control stopped working. The morning clerk fixed the remote for us the next day, and he was very nice, friendly and helpful.
I stayed mid-week and found the hotel to be clean and quiet. bathroom and shower were especially clean and had been updated. A no-frills stay, but exactly what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the continental breakfast served. Muffins, fruit, waffles, coffee, juices, cereal... it was all good!
I was greeted with a repetition of my name and reservation for a family suite and then immediately told there was no family suite available. When I pushed back, the clerk said he thought he might be able to 'make it happen after all.' I then asked to see the family suite. When he opened the door, the musty odor was overwhelming. The suite looked and smelled like it hadn't been opened or cleaned since the '70's. We told the clerk the room was unacceptable and we would not be spending the night there. He seemed surprised and asked why. When I explained why, he said we would not receive our money back. I then repeated the reasons why the room was unacceptable and there was not enough money on earth to make us stay there and walked out the door.
I visit Edmonds every year and I always stay at the same Travel Lodge as the hotel is clean, confortable and priced right. I'll be back.
Rest room was bigger or comparable to main stay area ;-). Bed quality wasn't great. Not very clean. Quick late night option if returning to edmond late night via ferry.
Room was small...and I mean small. We barely had enough room for our luggage. Wi-Fi did not work and the manager would not fix the problem. Staff was not professional and was talking about inappropriate things in front of customers. We also wanted to sit in the hot tub and was told at 8pm that the spa was closed even though the hours that were posted said it was open until 10pm. This should be a one star hotel.
Hotel was very convienient! near plenty of rstraunts stores and casinos seemed old but stil very clean, nice, quiet and decent! would def. stay again! thanks Travelodge
the most important thing to us for a motel is a good night's sleep after driving long hours. These beds must have rebar in them. Ranks up there with the worst beds we've encountered. Hot tub full of dirt and weeds. Yuk!
The room was clean and room service was great. There was a funny odor but it was the fridge. It could have been cleaned better. The location of the hotel is off the beaten path but for the price, it was worth it. The breakfast buffet is simple but there is enough to choose from to get your day started. All in all, a good experience and for the most part, all we did was sleep there.
This is a basic, cheap hotel. I stayed one night during a shopping trip and it suited my needs fine. I had no issues with cleanliness though I had read some reviews that mentioned that was an issue. In fact, I was quite impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom in particular. The hotel and rooms are a little worn, but for the price I paid I had no problems with it.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was okay .. nothing special but was fine for what we needed it for. I would reccommend that you ask for more towels as there were only a couple and very 'thin'. The location was a big consideration and for the price, it was a good choice.
I thought I would save money by staying here, but it wasn't even worth the price I paid. The room was not clean and the bedspread had cigarette burns in it. Do not stay here!
