Rooms were clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Very much recommend.
The front desk manager, Gary, was extremely friendly & helpful & so was the lady working the continental breakfast. The mini fridge, coffee pot & microwave in the room were nice. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was adequate & plentiful. The lobby & breakfast area is really nice.
We are usually fans of Baymont Inn, which is why we stayed there. But this was clearly one of their older properties & was reflecting it. As a fan, I'm reluctant to be critical, but this property needs some help. The elevator worked only intermittently & we ended up having to carry all our stuff both up to our room as well as back down the next morning vs using the provided luggage carts (not a big deal since we had 3 adult males in our group). The free wifi, would cut out repeatedly & often. The pool was out of service (we were offered the use of the pools of neighboring properties). Though the beds, furniture & bathrooms seemed clean, the carpet was not & left dirt on our feet & socks as we walked on them. The tv remote in 1 of our rooms didn't work (which the manager quickly resolved). Some of the bathroom tiles in one of our rooms was coming up. None of The bed pillows matched & a couple of them were really lumpy & needed to be replaced. lastly, though the only entrance to the hotel is through the main door by the front desk, there are emergency doors at each end of the building in the stairwells which can only be opened from the inside. We found BOTH these doors had been propped open with rocks to keep them from closing. Baymont Inn, you're better than this...
