Not as wonderful as it was last year when it seemed practically new, but it is still very nice. Beautiful lobby, nice bedding and shower curtain, tile floor, nice carpet, TV. The bed was comfortable but the one by the window made loud creaking noises when you sat on it. The pillows were average and some of the towels were showing wear. Wireless internet didn't require a complicated login. You just log right in. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices including biscuits and gravy and waffles. Hotel is in a retail area with shopping, sit down restaurants and a Kroger nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.
Hotel was quiet at night, early morning young children running up and down the hall screaming. The room was very clean and the service was good. Free breakfast not so good. Yogurt was warm and the fruit was bruised. Oh well.....
We arrived late, but check-in was a breeze. We were pulling a trailer, but we were quickly shown where we could park. Decent breakfast, clean room, comfy bed!
EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL AND HOTEL PERSONNEL WAS GREAT
This hotel was a pleasant surprise; great value for the price. The rooms and halls smelled good, no smoking odors. The rooms were excellent in comfort and cleanliness. Plenty of hot water. The pool and hot tub were nice and in good condition. We had adjoining rooms and both rooms were good. The lobby was very nice too. The breakfast had a good variety for a free continental breakfast. I would recommend this hotel or stay there again.
For the money, this place is hard to beat. The rooms, although a little older, were very clean and nice. Breakfast was limited, but good. Staff was friendly.
We stayed recently and werent sure what we were coming into as the Ramada was one of the cheapest hotels in the area. We were amazingly shocked at how wonderful it turned out to be. You could tell that the hotel has gone under recent renovations because everything was updated and fairly new. Even the towels were still soft! We had a non-smoking room with 1 King bed and the room was spacious enough to use our pack and play for our baby and still had penty of room. The continental breakfast is great. We are used to muffins and toast only and the Ramada provided eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurt, ect. The only issue that we had was that our key became deactivated during our trip and the front desk was more than happy to fix it for us and it only took a few minutes. And a bonus was that there were restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again!
We got the greatest rate on this room! The location was great for our son's basic graduation at Ft. Knox, but also for sightseeing & going to Louisville. We actually flew in & out of Nashville which was only over 2 hours away so we got to see a lot between the two cities. We also appreciated the better quality soaps & shampoos, large bathroom & fridge & microwave. Breakfast was as stated, continental, so just enough to get you going, but not substantial. We will definitely be staying here again when my son graduates from cav scouts!
many bugs in room, staff not friendly, bathroom needs upgrade
We were there for 2 nights and truly enjoyed this hotel. The price got us there but we would definitely return because it was very nice.
I thought this was a great deal! We had a king room and it easily accommodated 2 adults and the pack-n-play for my little one. The pool was heated very well and the staff was great. My son even got sick on our trip and the staff rushed to make sure we had extra linens and such. It was a great experience for being so far from home and we will stay there again next year on our trip!
My biggest complaint is that the sink is outside of the bathroom. So if you have someone who is a early riser they will ruin you sleep. Overall it was pretty good but I much rather would have had a room (if possible) with the sink in the bathroom so the door could be shut.
Stayed with hubby and two teens, we were expecting the typical low-end Ramada experience and we were extremely impressed! It looks like it was built last week, even though it was refurbed two years ago. Beautiful lobby (yes it really looks as nice as you see in the pics) halls and rooms were very nice and very clean, all new carpet throughout. Awesome bedding, wonderful ceramic tile in the bathrooms, nice shower/tubs with great showerheads. Breakfast room had several tables, plenty of choices for continental breakfast. Staff was friendly. Didn't use the pool, but it looked clean, and there was a kiddy pool (thought it was a hot tub but it wasn't.) We did walk to the Texas Roadhouse, it was literally in the same parking lot. There was only one thing I didn't like...the towels (they were thin and scratchy.) Oh, and I had no problem with the beds, but hubby said it gave him a backache. Normally I would've gone to the Fairfield next door, which is always more my choice than a Ramada. But I listened to the reviews on here and was not disappointed.
room air conditioner broke and was quickly given a different room, security maybe an issue as doors did not have chain lock and did not shut by themselves, front desk very and cleaning staff very helpful, room had microwave, refrigerator, and safe, Denny's restaurant attached to hotel, many other restauranunts close by, I'd stay here again, good price, AAA discount
One of the reasons we picked the Ramada Inn is because of it's reputation. 1st snag was the Pool was closed during our stay. Kidz and I hated that. Another thing is there were not enough wash clothes in the room and they didn't have any more!!!!! They gave my wife Hand Towels for us to use! I will not stay here again!
