Very spacious and very near to Cass Scenic rail and may restaurants nearby.
Nothing much to say except for the hotel prices.
The staff were exceptionally courteous and accomidating and the room and amenities exceeded my expectations.
Better than expected. Pool hot tub. Close to local restaurants
I like the location, close to American Mountain Theater where we attended a show and also the great breakfast bar.
No it was great.
It was a basic hotel but our experience was ruined with loud people in the hallway the entire time. The staff was friendly and forced to tell other guests to keep it down. Unless you're looking to party i wouldn't stay here.
Rooms are loud, you can hear everything. Other guests were very rude and partying until 5am.
Excellent staff! Because of the Daylight Saving Time change, we missed breakfast and one of the staff saw this and brought us breakfast. And this hotel has one of the best free breakfasts! Suited our needs for proximity to Snowshoe.
There is nothing negative I can say about this hotel.
Hot breakfast, wonderful shower, hot tub worked and pool was very nice.
No restaurant nearby....
It was very clean, and breakfast was great!
Overall experience was great. Staff was pleasant and very friendly. We will stay there again on our way to Snowshoe for skiing.
Great value and comfort. My wife is jealous of the mattress and is now shopping for one just like it.
Great location, great breakfast, helpful staff, very clean.
Smell of fresh paint in halls when we arrived, although that eventually subsided.
Pool n hottub
Charged 150 for room security n 4 days still don't have it bak
Offered breakfast early. staff very courteous!
I was on the 2nd floor.children ran up and down the halls.locking their parents out of the rooms.playing on the elevator
The hotel is very clean from the lobby, common areas, and rooms. The breakfast was really good.
The indoor pool was not the best. The pool room had to be 90 degrees and was over-chlorined and burned eyes by just sitting poolside. Pool of water were all over the walkways around pool and was extremely unsanitary and unsafe.
My son is in the service he got called up so we couldn't go, tried to use insurance to retrieve money. It is filled with so much red tape so ppl will give up (as I did) on trying to recover money. The insurance was a joke and very misleading, I've used priceline for hotels, airline tickets in the past but I will NEVER use it again!!
The pool is nice .
If you book with Priceline you are not as important to them as a regular customer
Lobby and dining area are clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good.
I didn't like the sheets. They were old and scratchy, from 'pilling.'Reception staff was not always available or helpful. There was no table or luggage rack for room.
The rooms were very nice, all clean. The bed was comfortable, good tv, and convenient location in town.
The walls were paper thin. The sound of the doors closing reverberated in the rooms enough to wake you. We were unfortunate enough to have a group on intoxicated people come in at 2:30 am and party for about an hour til they settled down.
I booked 2 nights at the hotel as separate reservations. The hotel forced me to check out and then check back in four hours later TO THE SAME ROOM!!! I understand that the start was my fault, but the inability of the hotel staff to communicate with one another cause me unnecessary inconvenience. When I spoke with the hotel manager, it wasn't taken seriously and he did not care. This was a shame because the facility itself was nice and the included continental breakfast was of value. However, if you expect your business to be appreciated, DON'T.
What a GREAT hotel! I give it 10 our of 10. The hotel is only a year or two old and it is awesome. No dirt anywhere! Great linens and towels. Bathroom sinks have granite like (engineered stone) tops. Flat TV screen was great. Not a flat TV but a new flat screen. Internet access, sitting area with chairs, refrigerator, coffee pot and etc. Several different rooms to choose from. Read the hotel wording as they have jazuzzi suites which are rather large and nice. Just the plain basic room (what i had) was very nice as well and anything but basic. Breakfast was plentiful and nice (except for the rubber eggs). Not sure why they would mess up on the eggs and have everything else so great. Make your own waffle bar, sausage and gravy, cereals, homemade cinnamon rolls, gourmet coffee, juices and much much more. Fruit and cookies for late night snacking at the entrance. Hotel staff was very professional and helpful. I was worried after reading the previous reviews but they must have fixed the staffing problem. Staff was top notch! Not sure why this hotel is rated only a 2.5 star when it is clearly a 3 or 3.5. One slight problem would be the low quality of pillows. The bedspread and sheets were top notch but the pillows were a tad lumpy. They should be replaced.. Bring you own if you can. Bed was extremely comfortable.
Stayed at the hotel several weeks. Rooms are clean but beds are not very comfortable. TV channels seems to always go in and out so it is very irritating when you're trying to watch tv. Worst of all is the service. Front desk clerks and esp the management is horrible and very rude. Will never stay there again.
This hotel was just built and is very very clean!!! Rooms are or almost are luxurious. Would like to see a little better quality pillows but bedspread, linen and towels top notch. Room are huge; perfect for families or the business traveler (me) who want to spread out. Room internet access. Absolutely great continental/ full breakfast. One problem: The constant elevator bell and chatter was unbearable. Make sure you get a room away from the elevator and you will be just fine.
I liked the place, very clean and nice, they need to train the desk help in the use of the hotel computer system.
