The location was excellent, the concierge very helpful. and the public spaces beautiful.

The room did not come up to our expectations. We paid extra to have 'a city and mountain view' which turned out to be a view directly across a series of bedrooms in a rental building. Is that a city view? If one looked hard left one could see mountains.

Additionally the dinner menu in the restaurant was almost only fish. I had expected more of a 6 star establishment.

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Clean and fairly new atmosphere.

I was on the 22nd floor window facing the northeast. I had views of adjacent and nearby condos and buildings.

This trendy hotel is more of a fit for business travelers. I was with my family and did not really enjoy the view from the room. The access from and to the hotel was a bit difficult during commuting traffic time since it was in the heart of downtown. I paid $22 (CAD)/day for self-parking plus taxes.

location next to Cruise ship port made it so easy to embark on cruise. Concierge person very helpful and pleasant.

passenger drop off area small and dangerous if a child stepped out of vehicle on wrong side. lack of free amenities. Atmosphere more for the business traveler as opposed to family on vacation.

Very clean and staff friendly. Dining experience was a little on the expensive side.

This hotel was amazing. I really think it has the best views of Vancouver and if you are cruising its so convenient. The room was very nice and comfortable. I will definitely come back someday.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel has some wonderful people working for them.

The hotel itself was a little weathered and rooms were pretty small for the price. The fees were quite expensive, especially for the parking. Not sure the value was there compared to other hotels in the vicinity.

What did I like best? Hmmm ... can I lie? It's in a great location. That's about it.

The rooms are a mess. I'm 6'2', so sleeping on a TWIN bed doesn't work - in fact, anyone about 5'10' will have a problem! My room was next to an alley, so dump trucks came through constantly. It smelled, the elevator was slow, parking was a disaster ...

The Ramada name shouldn't fool you: This is like crappy hourly hotel.

The Listel has great rooms! Very comfortable beds, nice solid walls meant no noise from other guests. We had a room with two double beds. There was a nice lounge built into the window, which was a great place to read.

Nope. Loved it all. Very happy.

The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. They gave us good restaurant recommendations. The offer free coffee or tea service delivered to your room on weekends. This was a super nice touch. Free wi-fi, too. Decor was lovely.

The Listel Hotel is in a prime shopping and dining area and within walking distance of the cruse ship terminal. The front desk personnel are so very nice, polite, and helpful.

No.

The hotel room was tastefully decorated and kept in immaculate condition. Also, can't say enough about how nice the personnel were. We arrived very early and they gladly kept our bags until check in; they also let us check in early which was a real pleasure as it was raining pretty heavily. We told the front desk personnel about the type of food we enjoyed and they make perfect suggestions for us as far as dining. We ate at one recommendation for lunch and tried the other for dinner that evening; both meals were great. I think this hotel deserves four stars.

The Landis is unique in that it shares the parking garage ($3 less a day) pool, spa, and fitness room with Cascadia next door. We were booked into Cascadia, but ''cruise critic'' members who live nearby told us to try Landis, and we were glad we did. True it is a little worn in appearance in places, and rooms need blackout curtains (sun comes early), but the pluses make it a goodvalue. The light breakfast is above average and according online only Landis and Cascadia offer one free in the downtown area. The pool was cool at first, yet nice for the kids, and stretching after touring all day. It is walking distance to the water taxi, shopping, and a variety of eating options. We are already planning our return, because three days was not long enough to see all there is to do. Our extended family group of five, three adults and two kids (one uses a wheelchair), were in their two bedroom unit. It was spacious witha dining, living room, and deck w/nice views. This hotel has minimal staff. There's no one to help you with your luggage. When we were checking out at 7am, there was no one at the front desk - we only found the maintenance person; the desk clerk was delivering the daily paper to the rooms. Their shuttle is only available til 7pm, you have to book in advance and they'll only take you within downtown, won't pick you up. The staff isn't very knowledgable about travelling to different sites outside downtown - although they did try their best to help and find out. Our hotel room was spacious, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Rooms were clean but the sofa in the living room had holes with the stuffing sticking out in 2 places. Also, carpeting was vacuumed but looked in need of cleaning or possibly replacement. There were black stains on the rugs perhaps from something sticky that once reached it. The sheets were threadbare with small holes in them; they also had stains which appeared inkbase. Hotel is said to be in downtown Vancouver...

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the service was impeccable. The rooms were amazing, and the concierge was incredibly helpful. The only big problem was that downtown Vancouver is all under construction, so while I had a beautiful veranda, it was looking at a construction site across the street, which was often times noisy. So it wasn't the relaxing respite of a vacation that I'd hoped for. I realize that there's nothing that the hotel can do about the construction, but had I known, I probably would have chosen a hotel that was not in the heart of downtown. If that doesn't bother you, then by all means, I'd highly recommend this hotel. It's top notch. The exterior environment just isn't.

The location is great; just a few blocks from Granville Island and a short drive from the city center of downtown.

The beds were not very comfortable. We dropped something behind the bed and the carpet underneath looked like it had never been cleaned. There was dust in the corners of the carpet. The staff was not very helpful when it came to finding directions. There are condos above the balcony level which really hampered our attempt to enjoy it.

It was clean. Could definitely use upgrades!

No fridge. TV had minimal channels. Room could have been better for size wise

There is definitely a smell from the hallway carpets, It was a ok room. Good for a night stay or two but anything more you might as well spend a little more and enjoy a better room. Could use upgrades to bathroom! It was located on Granville, which is a bar strip so there will be noise at night. Keep in mind you get what you pay for.
