The location was excellent, the concierge very helpful. and the public spaces beautiful.

The room did not come up to our expectations. We paid extra to have 'a city and mountain view' which turned out to be a view directly across a series of bedrooms in a rental building. Is that a city view? If one looked hard left one could see mountains.

Additionally the dinner menu in the restaurant was almost only fish. I had expected more of a 6 star establishment.

Location. Good beds and view. Plently of good places to eat that were relatively close by.

Public spaces--no place to sit and not very inviting. Pool and spa closes at 10 pm but in reality they close at 9:30 and that is early for a weekend during the summer.

I would stay there again. Good value for what you received.

The ambiance of the entire facility is fantastic! For example, the lobby area with the cascading fountain and water feature near the lounge and restaurant were lovely. The outdoor patio and pool area was also very attractive.

Overnight parking rate of $40.00 was high but not unexpected for this city.

The hotel is very well located such as being right along the water and close to skytrain. Tourism Vancouver site is also close to walk to which can offer guests great ideas for attractions, entertainment and dining. The Fly Over Canada show attached to this hotel was a great experience and one may purchase 1/2 price tickets after the show for another time.

We recently stayed at the Executive Hotel Le Soleil Vancouver, a cute smaller boutique hotel with gorgeous decor (Nov 2013). Our room was beautiful and a reasonable size for a small suite (with 2 large screen TV's). My only complaint was that there was no bath tub only a large shower. The staff were very courteous and efficient. Great location for walking to great local shopping and restaurants.

The bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect for walking around downtown and easy access to other parts of Vancouver.

The room and bathroom were tiny, compared to what we expected based on the photographs. Paid extra for a premium room, and other than being near the top floor there was nothing premium about it.

Great staff, great location. Rooms just left a little bit to be desired. Furnishings were a bit older, but the bed was very comfortable.

VIEW from 35th floor

Parking extra, getting to and from underground parking like being in maze and could have been improved with just a little paint and signage, very run down not what you would expect from a hotel with a revolving restaurant on Robson st downtown Vancouver.

Staff was great.

Location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue that they assisted with right away without delay. All Rooms have a balcony which allowed for great pictures. Cloud 9 Restaurant is great for view however food was fair to good.

Rooms were very dated as far as wall color, popcorn ceiling and old fixtures in bathrooms. However, the rooms were clean.

Mihaela was very courteous

The rooms were extremely tiny. Over a night club so lots of noise, very dirty and old

Worst hotel ever for rooms and noise. Wasn't able to sleep and a lot of drunk people outsid eof hotel due to club attached and bars around hotel. PArking only option is Valet and they park the car on the street but you pay a lot for it.

The staff were incredible and upgraded my room for no reason what so ever.

The location could have been better, the area felt a little dingy but not to the extent that it would matter to me.

Simple, clean and not very fancy. This was great for a business trip on a budget. A dinner voucher is given to the adjacent restaurant.

The location is great. Attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious and clean enough.

Not really. The food was a little pricey even with the $20.00 voucher towards your food purchase they give for each room. Another thing, the elevators are small and make a lot of noise.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It is old but it is clean and is in great location. Although we drove around Vancouver hop in, hop off buses make frequent stops at the hotel.

The Landis is unique in that it shares the parking garage ($3 less a day) pool, spa, and fitness room with Cascadia next door. We were booked into Cascadia, but ''cruise critic'' members who live nearby told us to try Landis, and we were glad we did. True it is a little worn in appearance in places, and rooms need blackout curtains (sun comes early), but the pluses make it a goodvalue. The light breakfast is above average and according online only Landis and Cascadia offer one free in the downtown area. The pool was cool at first, yet nice for the kids, and stretching after touring all day. It is walking distance to the water taxi, shopping, and a variety of eating options. We are already planning our return, because three days was not long enough to see all there is to do. Our extended family group of five, three adults and two kids (one uses a wheelchair), were in their two bedroom unit. It was spacious witha dining, living room, and deck w/nice views. The full kitchen was very...

This hotel has minimal staff. There's no one to help you with your luggage. When we were checking out at 7am, there was no one at the front desk - we only found the maintenance person; the desk clerk was delivering the daily paper to the rooms. Their shuttle is only available til 7pm, you have to book in advance and they'll only take you within downtown, won't pick you up. The staff isn't very knowledgable about travelling to different sites outside downtown - although they did try their best to help and find out. Our hotel room was spacious, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Rooms were clean but the sofa in the living room had holes with the stuffing sticking out in 2 places. Also, carpeting was vacuumed but looked in need of cleaning or possibly replacement. There were black stains on the rugs perhaps from something sticky that once reached it. The sheets were threadbare with small holes in them; they also had stains which appeared inkbase. Hotel is said to be in downtown Vancouver...

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the service was impeccable. The rooms were amazing, and the concierge was incredibly helpful. The only big problem was that downtown Vancouver is all under construction, so while I had a beautiful veranda, it was looking at a construction site across the street, which was often times noisy. So it wasn't the relaxing respite of a vacation that I'd hoped for. I realize that there's nothing that the hotel can do about the construction, but had I known, I probably would have chosen a hotel that was not in the heart of downtown. If that doesn't bother you, then by all means, I'd highly recommend this hotel. It's top notch. The exterior environment just isn't.

The hotel is right downtown within reasonable walking distance to pretty much everything. It was also clean.

The beds were very uncomfortable, and the staff wasn't the most friendly. Also, if you have a car, parking is very expensive.

It's a reasonable place to stay.
