Come to the Hjerting Badehotel to treat yourself and the one you love to a relaxing weekend break on Denmark's North Sea coast. The historic hotel in Esbjerg is located very close to the beaches on Ho Bay and is just 5.6 miles (9 kilometers) from the colorful city center. After welcoming guests for more than 90 years, the pet-friendly Hjerting's recent renovation offers light and spacious rooms with modern amenities, such as free outdoor parking and complimentary wireless Internet access. Its Restaurant Strandpavillionen is considered one of the premier dining options in the county of Ribe, with international dishes, a considerable wine list, and panoramic views of Ho Bugt (Ho Bay). The Ship-Inn is an English-style pub and café where drinks and inexpensive local dishes are served. Business travelers can use one of the 3 meeting rooms at Hjerting Badehotel. The Hjerting is just off the Strandpromenaden, the promenade along the beaches north of Esbjerg, called the capital of southwest Jutland. Visitors will want to head into the city center to experience the Esbjerg nightlife and visitor attractions. A 10-minute drive along the coast takes you to the Fiskeri- og Søfartsmuseet (Fisheries and Maritime Museum). Opposite is the Mennesket ved Havet ("Men at Sea" monument). From the monument, it is 2.4 miles (3.9 kilometers) farther south to Esbjerg Harbor, where ferries leave for Norby on Fanø Island. The Hjerting is a wheelchair-accessible property.
It was terrible! Firstly-Price is too high for this ordinary simple hotel. Secondly-At 8.00!! workers began capital repairs with great noise and chambermaid began to make rooms listening loud radio set!! We wanted to live in this hotel 2 nights but lived only one and went to live in another hotel. Staff is indifferent to guests, no any apologies. thirdly-if You pay with foreign credit card You will pay more!! without any notice.Never stay in this hotel!!!

Location, facing the North Sea.
The bedroom was cramped.
Very close to the beach.
At breakfast the waiter seemed reluctant to lay out food. Many of the items ran out such as fruit and bread.
The food and beer in your pub was excellent.
I could not have breakfast because the breakfast was to start at 7:15 and my work in Esbjerg started at 7:30.
