Room was humid even with ac and it smelled musty
Could be cleaner
Pool closed on Labor Day, why?
The staff were very friendly.
Exterior doors. The refrigerator in my room did not work. The vending machine took my money but gave me no water. The front desk staff quickly refunded my money but told me I would have to walk to a gas station to get water. It was about a 0.25 mile walk round trip--at 11:00 at night. They said they have been having trouble with the vending machine, so I thought they should have some items to sell to guests who lose money in the machine.
Convenient and pleasant location; wonderful breakfast; comfortable bedding; nice room with everything you'd need and expect in a 2 star hotel
Atrocious speed bumps; ancient lobby computers; no teabags available in the room or in the lobby; poor quality tv reception in the room
Friendly staff. large bed and great pillows.
Heater very very noisy. It was very cold outside and I had to let the heater on all night. I had to sleep with ear-plugs !
Easy transit to Washington DC and Dulles Airport
I was under the impression that my stay was booked and paid for on line. This was not the case as when I arrived at the Hotel reception passed on a message that I had to pay for the rooms directly with them. This caused confusion as I thought and had a piece of paper telling me that I had paid on line. No great hassle just slightly confused as were Fairfax BW Reception Staff. Cheers
Reasonable rates and easy access to the major roadways of DC.
The entry doorway did not close tightly to the jam so it was a bit drafty and noisier than if it was tight. The heater also emitted a strange musty odor.
The staff was absolutely excellent! They were very helpful, very knowledgable about the area and very friendly. The hotel was also very convenient to the metro and bus systems.
The room could have been a little cleaner but it was definitely not dirty by any means.
Conveniently located near the D.C area, but at a reduced price.
