Close to the beach and to the strip, super friendly and accommodating staff! We definitely enjoyed our stay
Right on beach
Could of used some updating but was 100% worth it
Perfect location, friendly staff, guys by pool bar were helpful, friendly, awesome
Rooms need to be updated. Room service was slow and lots of mistakes on orders, food was too expensive for the quality served.
Great location, beach chairs, cushions and towels were complimentary which was nice. If booked w/ kayak there was no "resort fee" Great view on the upper levels of the marina tower Good work-out room.
Paid in full when I booked. But had multiple questionable charges on credit card during stay. They have a safety desposit fee per night that cleared after checkout but the front desk couldn't explain 2 other charges. One of which I had to report to my credit card company. They only had 1 elevator working in the marina tower and I was staying on the 10th floor so I took the Stairwell often which smelled like urine. Room keys de-activated 2 times in one day which wouldn't have been a big deal if it wasn't such a long hike to the hotel desk. Spend a little bit more and go somewhere else. You can focus on relaxing, instead of dealing with these issues.
On the Beach The pool The Wreck Bar
Needs upgrading in rooms. Looks a bit dated
Staff was friendly.
Room was not clean, Found dead roach under seat cushion, Smelled moldy, night stand top was filthy. $20 for a beach umbrella. won't be going back to this place.
Great location, right on the beach Nice pool area Very friendly and helpful front desk staff
Really expensive alcoholic beverages and restaurants on-site ($15 for a pina colada??? $6 for a draft beer???) Bathroom didn't have a fan in it
The location was great, right in the beach.
The hotel was dirty. Our room was not clean when we got to the room.
I love the pool and the location to the beach. I like the overall look of the lobby and general public areas.
We hated our room, it was awful.
Horrible service in Dos Caminos bar
Right on beach. Most Ft Lauderdale hotels require crossing busy A1A to get to the beach. Here you can walk right to the water from your room in bare feet.
A bit pricy for what you get unless you can get a special rate like we did. Tacking on the parking and resort fee adds to it.
After immediate disappointment from reservations we had up the street, we cancelled and headed to B Ocean. We were in search of a more relaxing and enjoyable experience. I can assure you that they provided that and much more. Anthony and Charlie were awesome and extremely helpful from the moment we pulled to drop off our luggage. I would promote Anthony immediately if I was his boss. Nicole and Monica were very friendly and courteous at the pool bar and grill too! The beach chairs and towels made it very comfortable and relaxing to enjoy the Ocean. Thank you B Ocean for exceeding our expectations and allowing us to recommend your property to all of our friends and family.
Dos Caminos on the other hand has awesome food, but terrible service. I expect to be greeted within 5 minutes max after being seated. I do not expect it to be 15 minutes. Just to be sure it wasn't just us, I noticed the same confused looks on other guests faces. For the record it was not busy either, so no excuse. Also, since I had a lack of waitress, I asked the woman who dropped off our food "do you have salt and pepper?" She replied "yes". I never saw her again and by the time our waitress showed up I was finished eating. I decided to write them off for the rest of the trip, but I caved in on the last night since the Taquitos are really that darn good. This time we sat at the bar that was completely full of drinkers not eaters. To my dismay our food came out, minus the side of rice and beans I ordered, and the chips and salsa came out after that. This bartender should take notes from Nicole and Monica who get orders shouted at them from every direction and take it in smooth graceful stride. I'm being hard on the restaurant because everything else was perfect!
Great location being steps away from the beach. Also within walking distance of some of the great bars and restaurants on A1A.
Restaurant service in Dos Caminos was sub par. Ate there for breakfast buffet (disgusting and poorly set up) and we waited a long time for a waiter to acknowledge that we needed to order. He was rude by constantly stating how busy he was. At dinner, same issue with waiting a long time for service. Restaurant inside had bad smell, but nice sitting outside patio. Their valet service the first day was horrible but fantastic the second day and third day. Guest services was very good. Concierge had some issues due to lots of baggage to store and not enough handlers, but did improve. Hotel looks old and does not have the charm and boutique ambiance of old location. Their Zen Garden was a joke, and shou k d of been called Backyard smoking area.
Their are Humitidy in All the Hotel When I adquire the Room you tell me Its the Sheraton but never SAY it was the Sheraton??
The staff is friendly and helpful! We return to the hotel because of its location and the two swimming pools. There's nothing like swimming laps in the beachfront pool in the morning. And we'll be back again!
The pools were adeqaute. The facilities on the beach were very nice. The lobby area is stylish and welcoming.
Where to start ... This hotel is VERY dated and should not be rated as a "four star". It is three at best. Ordered room service for breakfast and they never showed up. Cleaning did not come on one of the days.
Beach, beach chairs, beach food/beverage service
Bar & restaurant close at 11pm. But food was good. Drinks expensive. Rooms small and dated but adequate.
Nothing........Wished I picked a diffferent hotel.
The hotel had 2 different buildings, the Marina and beachfront which was connected via a walkway. Very confusing, as you parked on level 4(the causeway level). The lobby was located in Beachfront hotel which you had enter via the causeway and tke the elevator to the 2nd floor. Once checked in had to take the elevator to the 4th floor cross the causeway, take the elevator down to my floor level. The AC was locked on 72 but felt like 50 degrees. Could not adjust, smelled like mildew. Very depressing! Could not wait to check out in the AM. The room was like staying in a Motel 6!
