Beautiful beach with clean soft sand. Decent outdoor pool with reasonably warm water. Our room was rather Spartan and small as were the beds. Free WiFi worked well enough. Dorm sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave and a few dishes were included. Flatscreen TV. The place was very quiet despite some light renovations that were going on. We never had trouble finding free parking in their tiny lot which is way too small to cover high occupancy days. In that case the front desk lady told me they send you across the street to another property they own. On the 4th night we returned to our room which had a strong oder due to tub reglazing in the agacent room. The staff was very responsive and moved us to an ocean front room which was bigger and better in every way. Full size fridge in the kitchenette, a sofa/living area, larger bath, and a full walk out balcony. Ocean front room is highly recommended if you can justify the uptic in price. Short walking distance to shops and restaurants to the north, and about a 1.5 mile hike south gets you to the northern loop water taxi boarding point. The free breakfast was very basic. No hot food except for some toaster items. But for the price I can't complain.
The non-ocean front room was small. The A/C was either very weak or perhaps nonexistent. It wasn't a huge problem for us as the outdoor temperature was moderate to cool at night.
