It was close to the expressway and easy to find. I like staying at your brand of hotel because I know what to expect.
the guy at the front desk was quite indifferent. After I checked in, I saw him outback by the dumpster smoking. I wonder if this is why he was in a hurry to get me moving. He did his job but is wasn't warm and friendly.
The spare pillow had a stain on it.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel was visible from a main road, but difficult to access. It was only accessible from a small side street, and there was not sign to indicate it was the road to the hotel.
Like the kitchenette, could use some sharper knives for cutting things like tomatoes. But it was nice to be able to cook.
Some of the guests were screaming but other then that it was good.
No trash can
Friendliness of staff
Room coul'dve been a lot cleaner
No cleaning unless you stay 7 days or more. Location is hard to get too.
Nice rooms. New flooring, everything worked. Comfortable bed.
The room was huge. Kitchen, complete with full size stove, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, an island to serve, or eat from and a dining table if desired, bedroom with two beds (good ones) the HVAC worked, and was quiet. Everything was clean.
It would have been better if the bathroom sink was outside the actual bathroom. The bathroom door did not close properly. Both complaints above are minor.
It was a place to sleep for one night.
Reserved three rooms that were each supposed to have two double beds and a pull-out sleeper sofa. Ended up with ONE room as reserved, one room with 2 beds and no sleeper-sofa, and one room with one double bed. First given 3 single beds and had to change.
Room size was good
Key card wouldn't allow me to come in the side door
Spacious and open, quiet a/c and plenty of kitchen utensils
Small breakfast, grab-and-go style
The Fort Wayne is a higher end hotel close to many eating places and things to do. The rooms are up to date, clean, with a modern touch. Very quiet. Temp control of the room was finicky, but manageable.
There is no refrigerator in the room. The ice machine on the same floor I was on did not work. I was there for 5 nights, while. The internet was slow most of the time and aggravating to hook up at times.
The best thing about this hotel was the outdoor pool.
It smelled like old smoke on the inside of the entire hotel - very musty.
Well, it's cheap and near major roads, that's the biggest attraction; room itself definitely in bare-budget genre, but clean and quiet enough.
Very poorly marked - there is no clear sign (or any sign, for that matter) directing you to the hotel entrance from the road. I told the guy in reception, and he said, 'Yeah, I know.' That's helpful.
The best thing was the location
it seemed kind of old and not as clean as i like
It has a kitchen and an outdoor pool.
The rooms can have funky odors like pets, smoke, cooking smells, etc.
Large rooms with kitchenettes. Large clean bathrooms. Very pleasant staff. Lots of good quality coffee free in the lobby. Bed was very comfy. It was firm but I like that for my back. No morning backaches!
Decor is a bit outdated but for the price, this was a great deal and very pleasant place to stay
The bed was pretty comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The staff was very friendly. I am very happy that they had free wifi.
It is pretty run down and in need of updating. The elevator smells like nothing I have ever experienced. It smelled of raw sewage and industrial strength Pine-Sol. It was so bad you could almost taste it. Dirty towel was still hanging on the back of door.
The room was HUGE and the staff was amazing
The only negative was the smell. You can tell that people had been smoking in a non smoking room
Location was ideal, close to highway, shopping, and restaurants.
The hallways smelled like smoke, the elevator smelled like an open bottle of pin sol. It is a very basic older style hotel that had a lot of weird smells.
The room was very spacious and cozy. Definitely gave you the feeling of home.
The public areas are small. The fitness center consist of a single treadmill, no weights or yoga mats, just one treadmill
I liked the amount of space, the kitchen area and table/chair arrangements. The front desk staff was very friendly and willing to assist.
The kitchen was not stocked. Not one utensil. No glass drinking cups - only well-worn plastic cups.
spaciousness and location
Kids jumping up and down on the floor above/ceiling endlessly for 3 days straight after multiple complaints. Since the hotel was fully booked, staff could not move us to another room
Great location and good value.
Hotel was difficult to locate. Poor signage.
Terrible Location. Outdated Rooms. Laughable Breakfast.
Breakfast and the lobby
Location was acceptable. Close to highway and several restaurants. Overall room was good allowing cooking etc.
Hallways were dated, tired and need upgrade. The fitness room had one (1) treadmill and TV hardly a fitness center. The breakfast listed by Priceline was coffee and high calorie, high carb packaged bars and muffins with green apples. Internet was slow.
Very old and dated. Hotel Staff Mary was very rude. Very strong chemical smell. We were stuck with a pull out bed that was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever been in. Had to go buy an air mattress just so we could sleep.
The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
I have stayed at a lot of 2 1/2 star priceline hotels and this one was not at that level. It was clean for the most part but not 2 1/2 star. We had a pull out bed that was pretty bad - not clean or comfortable!!
I liked that there was a full kitchen area in the rooms with REAL plates and silverware.
The carpet was dirty, the furniture was worn out, and the painting in the rooms was old and needed a re-touch. Also, the shower made a loud sqweak noise as it was running.
The bed in my room was comfortable
Yes as I got out of my car there was people parked across from me in their van smoking pot and I could smell it very strongly. I went inside and there was a man with a child on the couch in the lobby just hanging around. It was late and the little girl
exercise room is a tread mill. breakfast is a fruit bar both are jokes. hallways stink. 32 in flat screen but poorly mounted cant turn to look at from desk
Rooms are discussing! Dirty walls floors furniture beds, everything is dingy and sticky. The employees are liars and completely disrespectful. We will never even consider an extended stay again and my husband travels every week.
The man behind the check in counter. . . Jesus. He smiled, was kind and pleasant.
Run down feeling
Our room was given to someone else. They gave us a 'clean' room. It was labeled as nonsmoking but it clearly was not. We found cigarette ashes in the sheets. It was disgusting it should be rated 1*.
Hard to find the entrance. I asked for a wake-up call. They said 'Fine' and wrote it down. Next morning: no wake-up call. I mentioned this as I checked out. They stated 'Oh, we don't do that'. I told them they should inform their evening staff.
Absolutly nothing.Forxxx a night My car would of been better.
The carpet was dirty and burned, they did not have any hand towels and the towels where like sand paper. The kitchen had only 1 fork and it was there since the day they opened.I checked in and got to the room and they where still vacuming the carpet, had to
The amount of space in the room was impressive.
The egress for this building is horrible. I arrived at night and had to drive around the block twice to find the entrance. My sister did likewise later on in the middle of the day. My only other complaint is the picture quality on the TV was very grainy.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and re-assigned me to a room that didn't smell like smoke.
The first room I got on the 3rd floor smelled like cigarette smoke pretty bad. Even the hallway wreaked of it. This is a 'NO Smoking' hotel, but you wouldn't think so. No excuse for that kind of inconsiderate behavior!
Convenience, location to the expressway, size of the room, free continental breakfast.
The Shower Curtain had mildew bath towels small bed sheets thin kitchen was not set up for an extended stay. Bed had stains on the matress.Mattress must be replaced along with pillows and bedding.
It was in ft wayne
The room was blah
Did not have room I reserved, said they would in a few days, but a week later they never came through. Kitchen faucet spewed water, heater would not get above 68 degrees. Lighting so poor you could not see. Construction workers (half of parking was for their trucks) tracked mud into building and elevator. Christmas day moved us to smaller room with heat, but it had elevator shaft running through it. Early morning conversations could be heard in the elevator. Very early. Very noisey. Staff was unable to make any decisions, just apologized. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It was one week of miserable living conditions and physical discomfort. If you want a true resident inn stay at Marriott. Worth every penny!
Came to hotel for two purposes. Wife attending conference at Wayne Grand and husband visiting antique malls. Found it difficult to get around city due to one way streets and streets that changed names. A good city map showing these changes and large enough to read would be helpful. The hotel was good, had nice kitchen facilities, which we really did not use. It was comfortable and quiet.
