you can see Gulf of Mexico from the balcony
nothingvery nice hotel for the stars
It is in a nice area. Close to the Gulf.
The quilt was way to heavy and no blanket to use instead of the quilt. I do not like to use the cover on a hotel bed. The heat was either too cold or too hot no mater how we set the temperature.
Pretty good free breakfast. Near ocean.
The room has a misty smell. Likely from carpet. Also very limited parking places, as other reviewers complained. There are quite some disclaimer forms to fill out at check-in, which is a bit unusual and uncomfortable to me. I asked the staff and they said the place is an individual run enterprise.
Was near the beach
False advertising? Only reports that a fare is added to the shuttle to the airport and they tried to tell us it was $14 per person. Staff was very rude!Would NOT recommend this to anyone!
I liked the indoor pool and fitness center.
The only down side I found and it was not a super big deal and it happened only one night. The walls of the hotel are thin and you hear any and all noise outside in the halls.Overall the hotel was really nice for the price. Its location is not the greatest but far from the worst.
Breakfast was good.
Staffs REFUSAL to do anything about noise.Arrived to loud music in the lobby playing, hotel itself presented well otherwise. I got our room, myself, wife and 2 girls got into bed, and immediatly noticed noisy people upstairs that sounded like they were in our room. Sounded like children running back and forth and jumping off the bed at times. Started to drift off when at 10pm, the front desk rings our room to see how the room was for us. At 10pm. Really? The noise upstairs carried on continuously, woke us up at 1130pm, my wife called front desk to complain. They said they'd call them. No change. Woken again at 1230am, and again at 2am. Called desk again, they stated there was nothing they could do, it was their policy that they could only call them once. So the staff would not do anything more about the pounding coming from the room above us. So then WE, including my 2 small children, had to be inconvenienced and change rooms w...
Everything was great. Most recommended hotel in Galveston.
the hotel is close to everything we wanted to be close to, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty good.
It might have been nice to have a little more room in the dining area, my wife and I had to awkwardly carry the plates back to our room to eat. The lighting in the room was equally inadequate and harsh.some brighter light with softer tones would be nice.
