Located in Genevaas Latin Quarter, La Cour des Augustins provides a peaceful urban refuge behind its mid-19th century facade, offering a strong taste for contemporary design. Far from the cityas major crossroads at the heart of Genevan life, youall stroll through the old city, the art district, the business centre and the charming Sardinian village of Carouge. In collaboration with the Swiss designer Philippe Cramer, the concept was envisioned and based on ideas of personalization and variety of space. The hotel harmoniously blends a subtle mix of modernity and classicism. Composed of 16 rooms and 24 suites which combine comfort, design and technology, the hotel includes two buildings dating from the 1850s, entirely renovated in 2006 and connected by an interior courtyard. The hotel offers a unique style specific to each room and suite as well as contemporary furniture and decorative objects created by the designers. La Cour des Augustins also includes a permanent art exhibition as well as a boutique filled with ideas for interior design from furniture to lighting, as well as a wide selection of contemporary items.
