The motel and RV campground exudes the quaint and comfortable style of yesteryear. The rooms range from sleeping rooms for two persons to larger two room kitchenette units for four persons and are decorated in different colors with antique furnishings and quilts on the beds. The motel has been remodeled in recent years and it’s location on the east edge of town provides a quiet and comfortable stay. To keep prices moderate and reasonable the owners have a pay phone on site rather than in room telephones and have built a clientele who prefer to be away from the hectic noise of the downtown center and enjoy the quaint and quiet atmosphere of the motel. There is a coffee bar which sells coffee,tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino, juice, pop and muffins in the morning. The rooms are equipped with central air conditioning contributing to your quiet and comfort. The little touches that make this place special include the six foot hand carved white angel and two flower bedecked Victorian lamp posts in the front yard, the giant flower baskets and the neighboring miniature golf. The campground is situated on a 1.5 acre lot behind the motel . It is great for swimming, fishing, and inner-tubing activities.
