Flooring rooms was acomposit hardwood. Not warm.
Nice location and very clean
Pool was a little smaller than expected
clean rooms, friendly staff, complete bathroom goodies and amenities (makeup remover! what a plus!), awesome breakfast spread.. worth the stop!
Each staff member we encountered was friendly and personable. The room we had was clean and larger than I expected. The breakfast was delicious and you had lots of options!
The location was perfect for my needs.
Only one female staffer at the front desk was attentive to my needs. I was never contacted for the open room. I was on a waiting list, and had to acquire the room online, even after many phone calls. The room reeked of mildew.
Friendly, caring staff.
Hotel was previously a smoking hotel of another brand. It was not up to usual Holiday Inn Express standards. The smell of smoke was evident throughout the building.
I called the hotel for a late check-in, when they informed me that they had me booked for a queen size bed in a whirlpool room. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that. Then I arrived, the staff was prompt and housekeeping had ensured I knew that she was there to help me. Housekeeping kept the room nice throughout the stay, and the room was very well maintained and clean. I had firm and soft pillows, which were marked by embroidery on the pillow, I had free internet, and the room was smoke free. I know these are all things you should expect from a hotel, but my last trip to Vegas was a nightmare, so this was a welcome change.
We stayed here just overnight when we were stranded in PA in May 2009. All they had were smoking rooms left, but I figured it would be ok, because every other hotel I've stayed in has some sort of air cleaning system in the smoking rooms. WRONG! The entire floor reeked!! Our room smelled so bad, you thought you were sleeping in an ashtray. It even woke me out of my sleep several times. I would not recommend this hotel unless you smoke. Maybe the non-smoking rooms smelled fresh, but I don't know. Staff was very friendly, though, and hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Just the smelly room!!!
Rooms and pool were spotless, but curtains could not be closed and a spotlight was aimed just below our window. Also, a trucking business is just past the hotel - you hear trucks all night long. If a dark room and quiet surroundings are important, pass this place by.
For a convenient place to stay, this works. Nice, clean rooms and fine breakfast. Of course we expect free high speed internet these days. but the pool was out of order.
