Pros:I reserved a car. When I arrived to pick it up, I was rudely told that no cars were available.
Cons:They could have had the car that I reserved.
Hi, I had to travel an hour go get to the hertz store in Tulum. One arrived, the representant told us that the car was no longer available and that hertz was not able to honor my reservation. Without compensation, the hertz representative told us to leave without a car rental, with is the total opposite of what customer service is. I had to take another taxi back to my hotel and lost mu entire AM. What compensation are you offering to your customer in these cases? Regards,
Terrible. They had 0 cars available. I had to take a bus to the airport to pick up the car and they didn’t tell me until I arrived. They gave me no discount. I wouldn’t rent with them again.
Cons:There were no vehicles available. Wasted my time driving to this rental location only to be told I’d have to wait a day and pay 10 times the amount advertised.
Pros:After being frauded by the type of car (it said it would be a chevrolet aveo or similar, but the class stated a much smaller car) the salesmen admitted that this is wrong and upgraded us to a much bigger car. Dropoff in Chetumal was fine and good service. The willingness to help of the service personnel was the only positive aspect about this rental.
Cons:Betrayal with car description and car class. Dirty car, with lots of damages and oil change needed. Insurance which should've been included (as stated in the booking process) was not included and crazy expensive (only a third person liability insurance would've doubled the price). Ended up with no insurance. As an experienced Hertz customer in Europe, I'm not used to this kind of tricks and frauds. In my point of view this is a not acceptable business practise and I would advise everybody to choose another company.
Cons:They scammed me. I went to my time to pick up and told me they did nit have any cars. But I could have a car for 125..00. Then I called kayak and hertz. No help for me at all. They still charged my credit card and I never got a car to rent. I will take my complaint to the top to get this fraud stopped. **be careful do not rent from kyak or Hertz on here, it is a TOTAL SCAM!

We got a confirmation that our car was reserved. After waiting in line for about an hour we heard that there were no cars available. After insisting they could give us a car that was quite a bit more expensive. Not amused we opted for that, but it took them another hour to "unlock" the car in the system. We decided not to wait any longer and cancelled the whole thing and took a taxi to bacalar, which ended up even being cheaper. Horrible customer service!
Pros:I was scammed, we had made the reservation for 76$ and he told me the car was not available, gave me an even worse car, and then charged me 200$. HE saw that I had to deliver it in Cancun and once I told him I was heading to the airport he scammed me.
Cons:If they stick to their prices.
