Good location. It will be wonderful once 5 blocks of construction are finished in a cute retail and food area nearby. Right now there are sparse entertainment options within walking distance and you really should have steel-toe boots and a hard hat to reach some of them.
The room was tiny. It fit just the bed and there was 1 foot between the walls around it. I've never seen such a tiny room. It was difficult to even unpack with 2 people trying to walk in there. 1 person had to be on the bed if another was walking around it. The bed was 2 twin beds pushed together. Relegating you to 1 edge or another.
walking distance to and from marathon
Parking- everything else was great
The staff was great. There was one guy that was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't catch his name but he was shorter and looked maybe Hispanic. Peter was amazing. He was constantly telling us about services the hotel provided that were making our lives easier. The room was beautiful and the perfect size. Our last day we were able to grab a little snack from the lobby on our way out which was nice and exciting for poor college kids.
There was one rude front desk attendant that seemed annoyed we wanted to check into our room with her. She also didn't seem to know about how the valet parking worked and we had to wait to get there and validate everything with wonderful Peter. The only weird thing about the room was that it wasn't one big bed. It was two little beds put together, which worked fine for us. But that seems weird considering the hotel is mostly for business people that would be staying alone in a room.
Nice remodel of the hotel. The room was very spacious. Friendly and fast check in.
$25 per night ($27 with tax) for valet parking as only option.
The suite was ... sweet! Tremendous value for the money: a kitchen, a huge living room, and a bedroom. Club Quarters would also be good for urban family travel, since there's a nice foldout couch in the living room for kids. It's green because of where it is - right where the light rail lines intersect in the center of downtown Houston.
No soap in the bathroom, though I'm sure they would have given it to me if I hadn't been too exhausted to ask. It seemed like an oversight, since there was shampoo/conditioner.
Location and staff were great, very friendly and helpful
Room was a little small and the walls were a little thin
It was close to the Minute Maid Park where I attended a concert. I didn't have to worry about parking my car to attend the concert. We were able to walk with no problem. Valet was also another plus. I will stay here again!
Informative staff. Reasonably priced parking with in and out priveleges.
Size of rooms. Cleanliness of rooms.
Upgraded to the two bedroom suite and it was well worth the money. Big living and dining areas, full kitchen, and the bed was super soft.
Honestly can't think of anything, but then, I'm easy to please.
The room was nicely decorated. Awesome espresso machine in the lobby.
"Breakfast" consisted of some Multigrain granola bars in a bowl and whole fruits in another bowl. No yogurt, no cereal, no pancakes, no bagels. Nothing! We didn't want to pay for the restaurant in the lobby.
It's proximity to the locations I needed to visit while in Houston. And it's a short ride to The Galleria Mall. Great location, not extremely busy.
