Staff is cold. The receptionist was rude acted like she wss doing me a favor. AC was not cold
Very friendly staff
Clean and comfortable
Hotel is a little dated but definitely well maintained and clean
far away from downtown
Very nice, looked updated and new.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Pretty good location.
Had to call for toliet paper. A/C in hotel too colx.
indoor/ outdoor swimming poolwell equipped exercise room
charge for another bed.
Absolutely loved the staff! The room was very clean & lovely. Enjoyed the bar & bartending staff, as well.
Can't think of anything off hand.
The hotel is older but very well kept.
Distance from other attractions.Had additional charges for two queen beds.
It was beautiful and the staff was friendly.
I chose a double queen online, but was given a king. I had to pay extra for the double queen.
Good clean rooms
Customer service at front desk was poor.
Indoor and outdoor pool
No fridge in room or microwave
Excellent location and staff
Only two elevators working while the hotel was packed with bus loads of soccer kids riding the elevator - waited 15 min and took the stairs a couple of times in late evening and in the morning because of luggage waited 20 min as elevator was always full!
A staff named was helpful, rooms were well maintained.
Old hotel with a smell of mold, staff were a hit or miss, breakfast was closed much earlier then what was informed. doesn't provide micro wave to heat milk for the baby, has just one such microwave in the entire hotel (unbelievable)
small room, not friendly
Overall this location is a well kept hotel, very beautiful - lobby, restaurant/bar, conference/ballroom area, swimming and fitness are, and our room/bathroom was very neat, clean, beautiful and appealing.
When we first checked in, our bank card was charged 3 separate times; 2 separate $95 charges & 1 $66 charge. We were told it was the hotels error. Still waiting for funds to be credited to account.
Rooms were hot room 764
Very friendly staff
They did not have a micowave
Location is fantastic. Nice spacious lobby. Great people at restaurant and bar.
Bed was lopsided felt like you were sleeping on an incline. Air-conditioning was set on 55 and still not cool enough. Need to have plugs on night stand instead of behind the headboard for access for people who need to plug in things they may bring.
Nice strong air conditioner, and plenty of parking.
Shower was clogged before arrival curtain was damaged before arrival
The decor was outdated .There was roaches in the room.No microwave in room The valet supervisor would not allow the driver of the shuttle to take me 2 miles from the hotel this one reason I choice this hotel.
Front Desk personally was pleasant especially Stephannie
It was horrible
Only 3 towles no soap the sheets had spots on it the maid didn't want to change it
Not too much. It was clean.
CONSTANT NOISE FROM 610 ALL NIGHT LONG. Pay for internet, Pay for Parking, Pay for everything. Be careful with this one. Not such a good deal with all the add ons.
The hotel was clean and has a great location.
The hotel is old and the a/c didn't work very well considering temps were 100+. They gladly moved me to another room but the air was still compromised.
Looked like tournament teams staying at hotel and they were very noisey
The pool was wonderful!
After a late check in I was given a dirty room. The hotel did change my room. But it was an inconvenience to move after getting the family settled.
The guest service was not very good. Out of the five people I saw when I arrived only one said hello. As we were passing the reception desk on our way in, a male receptionist made some unpleasant facial expressions while staring at a lady walking by.
Parking was good
The Hotel is getting run down. AC is not good. Smells dirty in a lot of the areas. Seems to have a rough crowd at times.
It was a great central location.
The a/c was not working properly. Maintenance was called and couldn't fix the problem. They offered to bring in a fan, but I didnt receive it till the next morning after calling a second time.
Upon checking into hotel, the room air conditioning wasn't working. After notifying the front desk, maintenance didn't get to rm til around 11pm.Still a/c wasn't working correctly after they left.No microwave or refrigerator in rm. No fan or a/c in bathroo
It's a nice clean hotel.
Small out dated rooms. We asked for a wake up call and we never received a wake up call. There was also a bottle of water in the room that was informed to us by front desk it was complintary and they ended up charging nearly 5 dollars for. Room A/C bad
They charged me $10.00 extra for 2 double bed for each room. also the WI-FI is not working and the technical support ask to buy the internet service to get the WI-FI.
I loved the indoor/outdoor pool was it unique . Great Location!
Front desk treated me like i was staying at a 1 star Hotel not 3.5. Staff acted like they were doing me a favor when i brought it their attention that Housekeeping didnt bother to clean my room. Overall had a 'Nice /Nasty' attitude throughout visit.
The hotel played the music in the public spaces, which is the entire middle of the hotel, very loudly until late. This could easily be heard in the room.
Thank you for reaching out. For the past several months, since November, I have stayed at this hotel on average 8 - 10 nights a month. The hotel is well managed, and I generally feel like it is a good value. My visit this past weekend however did not meet up to the standards of previous visits. I wish to bring your attention to two notable occurrances: 1. Around 3:15AM Saturday morning, a man and woman entered the room next to mine. They slammed their door, which woke me up, then began a loud, profanity-laced, drunken argument. The argument soon elevated to a loud, profanity-laced, drunken screaming match, lasting about 30 minutes. During that time, I called the front desk about this situation twice. Apparently security addressed the situation, which I appreciated. I know there is not much the hotel can do to prevent this type of situation. That said, I wish the situation had been handled more quickly. Thirty minutes of drunken screaming seems like an eternity when it's nearly 4:00AM. 2. Saturday afternoon, as I exited the lobby elevator I was greeted with a broken pipe spilling brown sewer water from the ceiling into a large trash container. The sight was disgusting and the smell nauseating. I was meeting several friends in the lobby who loudly complained about the stench when I arrived. We had planned a meeting in the hotel bar; however, the smell was just overwhelming, so we left immediately. When we returned several hours later, the smell continued to linger in the lobby. As one might expect, the situation was embarrassing for me and did not leave a good impression of the hotel with my colleagues. The site and smell of raw sewage spewing from the ceiling is simply disgusting. Overall, I have been a satisfied customer and will likely continue to use this hotel on my frequent trips to Houston. However, had this weekend been my first visit, I am quite certain that I would not be returning. Sincerely, Don Bresina Austin, Texas
Pool and health club
Rooms are hot, you can't adjust temp. They charge you for water in room, but same bottle of water is free in health club. Power went out for, no appolgizes..rude front desk staff.
The building is pretty oldAND the whole hotel lost power in the morning No compensation
The maide was helpful
Yes the whole weekend the check in was bad .me and daughter was there for the weekend it was her birthday..first the person that checked us in told me that i need to pay more money for a double beds ok fine. Then so put me and my daughter on too different
Horrible Parking, No refrigerator in my room, the room AC was not working properly, Room too Hot. Two Weddings booked on that weekend, too many people and not enough preparations for those guess who were not a part of the wedding parties.
the location was okay
The hotel room 646 was the worst room in the building. it was made for a person with wheelchair, there was no tub only shower and water wet entire bathroom floor. this was the worsrt experience i have ever had, the staff wouldn't even try to help
I already submitted complain to u
Behavior and cleaning and discrimination
Customer service and the rating only justified the amenities the hotel had to offer. This hotel was ran like a 1 star.
The weekend of our stay there was a large party of people making much noise and drinking EVERYWHERE. By everywhere I mean parking lot lobby even elevators. Loud music by the pool all day as well as parking lot.
Little to no security.
The lobby was well decorated as well as the room. Great shower.
I was on the 9th floor and up from 10pm to 1240am with cars/motorcycles revving their engine and 'showing off' their exhaust systems. I complained to night manager Joseph and he said he would not refund my money nor give me a free upgraded future stay.
Dated hotel, small room
We didn't live this hotel, and they sent us to Courtyard. And Front desk lady lied and bad attitude. No care about Priceline customer. Suggest terminating business with this hotel.
I thought the hotel was pretty good, loved the bar! Rooms were a little small and outdated but the beds were very comfortable. I booked the room a day before I arrived and the price was still decent, so that was a plus. I personally would have liked a more up to date a trendy place but would definitely come back.
I just wanted to mention that I appreciate this hotel customer service, room quality, and feel good place... two thumbs up ***** five stars...
I was traveling strictly on business so that makes my needs different from others. I also travel to many different business hotels and chains, so my comparison is broad. Overall, I have two serious issues with the property. First, I was surprised how small the rooms were. I could live with that since I wasn't going to be spending much time in the room anyhow. What pushed me over the edge was the glacial pace of the Internet connection in the room. It was unusable for connecting to my corporate VPN. It was barely usable for casual browsing. The connection was there but the speed was not. It was slower and more erratic than dial-up. I hadn't checked in until 11PM so you might imagine I was irritable. I called both the front desk (no help) and the Guest Relations Manager(got voice mail) before giving up and deciding to go look for a Starbucks. First I went to the business center, where the connection speed was the same. Before leaving the business center, I unplugged the network connection from one of the desktop PCs they have, plugged it into my laptop, and got a lighting fast connection. Altogether, it took about an hour-and-a-half to finally get a proper connection, and about 10 minutes to finish my work. I acknowledge that my needs are narrow, but very important to a business traveler. Suffice it to say, I checked out early on the basis of this issue alone. As a business traveler, I cannot be without a high speed connection and this hotel did not have one.
The service was great; very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ordered breakfast in my room ? the food was pretty good but it?s hard to mess up tea, fruit and yogurt. The valet was friendly and knowledgeable. Great location near the Galleria. There was an AC vent outside of my room door that was leaking, making the floor wet. I would have preferred to be moved to another room. The room I had was pretty small. Overall, it was okay. The hotel is convenient for my business purposes, so I will give it one more try.
The only thing that keeps this hotel from meeting the 4 star is the room size. Ameneties are plentiful. Pool is large, fitness area is nice and has just about everything you will need. Get the breakfast witht the room it is very much worth it and good. Hotel is clean and the front desk was pleasant. Room request ie; Robes, Refrigerator was not brought until I called several times. Nice lounge area and snack / souvenier store but as usual..pricey. Overall 3.5 stars
