The location and cleaniness
Was not able to get a refund for my last day. I had to leave early.
Check out time at 11, 12 woulda been a lot nicer
The staff was not very friendly. There was no soap. it was dirty. air conditioner barely worked.
They were so kind to let me check in earlier then the posted time in the lobby. Once checked in they followed up with me to see if the room fit my needs. It did. I had some afternoon appointments to get to and when I came back my door lock batteries had went dead. They immediately moved me to another room, fix the door and let me retreive my belongings. They were courtesty and very helpful despite the problems. The room was clean and free of bugs and smelled fresh with no issues. The cleaning was done daily and the bathroom was immaculant. I would stay here again.
Although this is a fairly new property, it needs alot of work! We had the unfortunate experience of having a lower floor room. the people up above us sounded like a herd of elephants walking over us all night. I don't think they were stomping, it was because the flooring was not secured properly, and the boards were loose. When they walked it was absoulutely rediculous! i put my headphones on and fell asleep to my IPOD, to drown out the noise. We spoke to the owner/mgr in the morning and he admitted to knowing about the problem, but blamed it on the contractor. Of course! So why put a customer in that room if you already know there is a problem? Will never stay there again. We were on our way to catch a cruise ship the next day.
The location and hotel it self was okay. Unfortuntely, when checking they acted as if they didn't get my reservation. The manager tried to charge me for what he would charge for a room with double beds not what my confirmation said. He ASSUMED their would be two people in the room because I booked double beds for myself. After much debate he reversed my charge and processed my credit card for the amount I was gauranteed when booked. I was surprised that for a suite the bath towels barely covered your body (better used as a hair towel) and the room was not cleaned daily.
Best kept secrete in Houston !!!!!!. The rooms are very clean and updated. We were more than happy with the continental breakfast since we saved between $40.00 and $50.00 per night. But we loved the cappuccino machine. The manager is very friendly and impressionable and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you are visiting Reliant Park. When ever we need a hotel in Houston this will be our first choice.
