Thank you for the opportunity to respond. 1. The car agency was closed when we arrived in LA, without any instructions to go to ACE. 2. We had to locate another agency to obtain a vehicle and exit the airport. Terrible experience and to know that they are NOT even aware that the vehicle was never picked up. DO NOT CHARGE FOR A VEHICLE THAT WAS NEVER DELIVERED.

Was not able to pick up the car. Because we are local residents and did not have the required paperwork needed. Associate that helped us was rude and not helpful. He was also on his personal phone while he was with us. He said something and I didn’t understand so I asked him to repeat himself and he just pointed to his ear. The whole time he was giggling to whatever he was listening to. I’m so sorry I didn’t get his name because I would’ve included here

Easirent did not post their hours. When we arrived at the airport the only thing we could do was rent from another car company. They closed at 6pm and our plane landed at 6:05. Instructions were unclear and hopefully I am not charged as I will dispute the charges since no services were rendered.

Line was long, I book my car for 12 but by the time i get my car it was 2pm, they never have the car I booked for, I booked a RAV-4 and they gave me a small sedan, they offered me other car that was smells and some some car the key doesn’t work properly.

Nothing was good. I will never use them again, or Kayak for that matter. There was no (obvious) mention of the fact that the facility closes at 6 pm. No other airport rental car facility closes that early. My flight landed at 5:50 and by the time I got off the plane and called for thier (call-to-arrange) shuttle, they had closed and there was no one even answering the phone at 5:59 pm. I had to Uber all over town to dinner, hotel, meetings, lunch and back to the airport. Never had a more worthless rental car experience.

The pick up drop off experience was horrible. Especially when dropping the car back off. The guy had AirPods in on the phone and they didn’t say a single word to me just waved me on. The pickup process they didn’t give my ID back and had to go back for it. Customer experience needs work

getting a ride from airport took half an hour, initial phone contact number didn't pick up, 17 callers wait for call to be answered. At drop off in early morning the office was closed, fortunetly one of the hotel workers saw me and another woman and told us where to park and drove us to airport.There should have been a sign at door directing to Hotel.

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. I had to extend my rental due to not finishing the work I came down for and the company made it very easy to extend.

Pros:

I prepaid for a Hertz rental car for our 5 day vacation. However when we arrived to the rental location, there were no cars available. The Hertz staff were unhelpful and did nothing to remedy the situation besides giving me the Hertz phone number. In short we lost money and time and gained nothing from the experience except the wisdom to never book through Kayak again.

Was notified 30 minutes before pick up time there was no car available for me. I was told they would call me within 20 mins with a car & never heard back. I continued calling them throughout the day, each time there was a different excuse why there wasn’t a car available. Had to rent from enterprise

I made a reservation about two weeks in advance of my trip, when I went to pick up the car the assistant manager told me they didn’t have anymore cars and they haven’t had any for two days. That’s not the end of it, when I inquired about why I wasn’t informed the assistant manager told me that they’ve been “trying to call me” But the problem is I actually called this particular Hertz office the day before pick up and then the morning of and both times my reservation was confirmed by the associate. This manager never apologized and showed a complete disregard for the inconvenience and then gave me an attitude for being upset quote “I don’t know what you want me to do” and shrugged her shoulders. When I inquired about my refund she said “we didn’t charge you” as she walked off to the back. I will not be doing business here ever again.

Drop off was easy

Cons:

Budget called a day before to inform that all cars were sold out and cancelled the rental . Then on the day of the rental they called to inform they now have a car available. Very unreliable to rent if you have solid plans for the day . Also they overcharged

The pick-up and drop-off from and to the airport was seamless and very well organized. I wish we would have been told how to use the ETC (electronic toll collection) as you apparently have to insert an EC card. So when time came and we wanted to use a expressways we stumbled upon some troubles that could have been easily avoided by informing us. Everything else was perfect: the car was super clean and the staff very friendly.

How can any words describe the experience I received??? Online the quote I agreed was £330 for 5 nights hire of a mini convertible. On the day I arrived I was told this figure was not correct and I should now pay £400 plus an additional £135 for insurance. Ok insurance fair enough, it’s high but it’s still a choice, but why the additional £70 above quoted price, which by the way stated includes ALL fees! However it get far worse, on the final day our flight was cancelled so I emailed asking to extended my booking 1 day… A new invoice arrives… £780!!! So what started at £330 ended up at £780… take off the £135 for insurance that’s an un-expected increase of £315 for an additional days hire… Oh and what did the advisor say at the airport… ‘Welcome to Switzerland, get used to it!’ Complaint raised, but of course no response…

They required 2 forms of photo idea (not warned ahead of time) because I booked within 24 hours. Never seen this in my life after hundreds of rentals. Everything else was sold out and i took a $200 uber instead.

This was the most pleasant car rental experience from start to finish. Our check in agent was so friendly and accommodating, the car was clean and easy to check in and out, and when our flight was delayed 12 hours they were so kind in extending our rental. I will preferentially rent from Sixt in the future!

Payless has great customer service for the situation we were out in. The insurance prices are crazy but at the end of the day it wasn’t Payless fault. This is a country requirement that we did understand prior to booking. The pick up was easy and Luis was great!! Drop off was simple as well and super friendly. Car was cleaned when we picked up and that was appreciated.

The check-in process took forever. It was a large line and at the beginning the attendance. Chatting among each other, Delaying the process. Finally, a young man came in. And checked in as many people as the previous to attendance did together. I’ve been to this car rental before, and it brought a memory of the last time we experience the same thing. Very frustrating.

I prepaid for my car only to get to the counter and wait for just under an hour. Once assigned a car, I again waited because I was then told my car was double booked. I finally got a car, and it was a great car. However, after turning it in on time I was charged for 3 additional days because they had me down as driving a completely different car. Definitely will Pay More next time and rent from someone else.

Getting from baggage claim to Payless terminal had to stand in long lines to get on the bus. The customer service agent was very nice and friendly. We ended up getting an electric car, but never told us about what charging stations we could use being not familiar with that type of electric car and where the charging stations were a big problem wasted a lot of time during our driving experience, trying to find chargers that would work.

Payless always comes through, the pickup and dropoff process is fast and easy never any issue.. The payless cars are very updated and reliable, the price is always affordable and the deposit is always given back as soon as you drop it off, no extra charges or fees.. I highly recommend them, been using them for the past 3 yrs everytime i travel and not 1 issue..

The people at the service counter were friendly and tried to be helpful, however, they could not give me the car I had reserved or the equivalent. After an hour at the counter I had to insist that I get the car I had reserved (or equivalent) at the price I had reserved it. In the end, I had to pay more and did not get a 4 wheel drive. I had to add over 100 miles to my travel to avoid a snowy route.

This would have been a good experience apart from two things: 1) the repeated pestering texts and e-mails insisting that I check in online in advance, which I tried to do but the system didn't work; and 2) HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited for over half an hour to speak to someone in India who was hard to understand and then in the end said she couldn't do anything to change my pick-up time because I had booked through a third party service, and gave me a non-functional phone number to try to reach the airport desk. What a pity. The car was fine and the airport pick-up staff were fine. But I will never use Dollar again because that company wouldn't let those people just do their job.

I arrived at the airport, and the company was closed. I booked my rental three months ago; now I have to go to the open rental company and pay the going price. Air lines run 24 hours a day, and so should rental car companies at the airport.

Horrible experience. I picked car up to a car with no brakes , filthy and no charger installed. I asked to replace car and was told I’m the one who picked an economy car. Rude! Then replaced car had faulty engine and brakes problems but I kept it since it as a hassle for them to replace. Car was also filthy. When I returned the car they told me I had to go vacuum the car from sand that had no foot mat. Rep stated on the paperwork it was 3 mats and was a lie. Only 2 back mats came with car. Only reason I didn’t score it poor is because I survived this death trap!
